CONFIGURATION OF TL-MR3020 V1 WITH AIRTEL DATA CARDS

!!!!!!!BEFORE CONTINUING PLEASE SET THE BUTTON OF ROUTER TO 3G MODE GIVEN
ON THE SIDE OF ROUTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Step 1 Open the web browser and type the LAN IP address of the router in the
address bar, the default IP address of TP-LINK router is http://192.168.0.254
and then press Enter.

Note: if you cannot access the page, please check the IP address of your
computer or reconfigure the IP address of your computer.

Step 2 Type the username and password in the login page, the default
username and password both are admin.







GO TO
NETWORK SELECT 3G/4G OR 3G ONLY FROM THE RIGHT SIDE MENU
NOW CLICK ON 3G AS GIVEN IN THE PICTURE ABOVE
LOCATION: SELECT INDIA
MOBILE ISP: AIRTEL
CONNECTION MODE : CONNECT AUTOMTICALLY
AUTHENCATION TYPE : AUTO AND CLICK ON SAVE

(IF THE AIRTEL IS NOT LISTED ON THE MOBILE ISP LIST KINDLY KINDLY CLICK ON
ADVANCE SETTING)

CLICK ON SET THE DIAL NUMBER,APN,USERNAME AND PASSWORD MANUALLY
DIAL NO: *99#
APN: airtelgprs.com
USERNAME : Blank
PASSWORD: Blank
AND FINALY CLICK ON SAVE AND CLICK ON BACK AND AGAIN CLICK ON SAVE









NOW WIRELESS SETTING

Wireless->Wireless Settings on the left side menu to open the wireless setting page.

SSID: Set a new name for your wireless network.
Channel: It is better to be located to 1, 6 or 11 than Auto.
"Enable Wireless Router Radio" and "Enable SSID Broadcast" should be both ticked.
Step 4 Click Save to save your settings.
Note: After clicking on Save button, it will pop up a message The change of wireless config will not
take effect until the Router reboots, please click here to reboot. You neednt reboot the router until
you finish all the wireless settings.
Step 5 Select Wireless->Wireless security on the left side menu and check the WPA-PSK/WPA2-
PSK option on the right side.

Version: WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK
Encryption: TKIP or AES
PSK Password: set your password (the length of PSK Password is between 8 and 63 characters.)
Step 6 Click Save to save your settings.
Step 7 select Systems Tools ->Reboot on the left side menu. Reboot the router to make all the
settings take effect.

Note: If the security has been set up, you need configure the same security settings on the client
(wireless adapter) in order to connect to the wireless network (router).












After all the above procedure the status page will appear on the screen as given below

Wait for nearly 3 to 4 Minutes till you receive the IP Address in 3G or 3G/4G Field as
shown above ( kindly check your internet , if You face any problem after doing the
