Great is thy faithfulness Verse III
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God, my Father, Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not, Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be. Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
(Repeat chorus)

Chorus
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided,
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!

Verse II
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

A Greater Witness to Others

T here is a wonderful story of a merchant who was asked to make a

donation to the church where he was a member.
As the canvasser and the merchant talked in the merchant’s shop, the
merchant gladly wrote a check for $250. Just then, the man was called
to the telephone. When he came back, he looked unhappy. “I was just
read a telegram over the phone. One of my ships has gone down and all
the cargo is lost. That makes a difference for my business. I’ll have to
write you a different check.”
He took back his $250 check and ripped it up. He wrote another one
and gave it to the canvasser.
“But the check is for $1,000!” exclaimed the canvasser. “Did you
make a mistake? Maybe you meant to write $100?”
“No,” replied the merchant. “Now is the time I need to give even
more to my Christ. And a bigger check can be a greater witness to
others.”
