"he Immigrant group I chose was 1exican immigrants. I chose this group because I am a part of this
group. I was brought to the U. as an infant so I do not remember the process. 2ad I grown up in 1exico,
I would imagine I would want to li$e in the United tates. "here are so many opportunities to excel in
e$ery way imaginable. I am a fighter at heart, I li#e to always be the best I can possibly be, and where I
grew up, and there are no opportunities for impro$ement. I do not belie$e the naturali%ation is lengthy, I
belie$e it is adequate.
3$ery one who wishes to enter the U. should ha$e a purpose and dri$e. I am $ery much against some
one coming into the U. and li$ing on welfare. With that said, I do belie$e that the cost for all that is
in$ol$ed is a bit high. I suppose this is a way of ma#ing an income for our country, but there must be a
way to ma#e the cost affordable to those who ha$e good intentions. I also belie$e that ha$ing fingerprints
on file can be $ery helpful to identify a person, whether it is a diseased body with no identification, or a
crime. I do not belie$e that we should eliminate this part of the process.
I do not belie$e that the U. should fa$or any particular group of immigrants. "here are always good and
bad people in each group of immigrants, and it is difficult to tell who will, and who will enrich our country.
-or that reason, all who meet the requirements should be gi$en the opportunity to li$e the &merican
dream. I do belie$e that after a 4trial time5 any one who cannot get on their own feet, or commits a crime,
should be deported. "his may sound harsh, but there are immigrants who, after recei$ing help from the
go$ernment, will not attempt to go on much further. I do not belie$e that applications from any country
should be gi$en priority, li#e I mentioned before, we 6ust do not #now who will bring quality to our country.
