cafe connect

holiday connect

Over the summer period, cafe connect is expanding- opening
the doors of the cafe wide to invite all of our community,
especially families to come and join us, both inside the cafe
and outside on the grass and patio.

Every Monday morning between 10.30 and 12.30,
do drop by and say hello at the Wallington Library cafe-
buy your refreshments and relax & have a chat.

Iraq Crisis Appeal
Our hearts cry out for the thousands of people persecuted,
displaced and fleeing in terror in Iraq.
Christian Aid already has partners in Iraq helping with vital
humanitarian relief for the displaced communities and is asking
for our help to scale up these efforts.
If you would like to give via Springfield, please use
the collection box at the entrance to the hall, and we
will add it all up and send one cheque to the charity.

Looking Forward

There are a whole series of
great things being planned
for this autumn. These will
include "Lost for Words" - a
course designed to help us
be more comfortable in
sharing our faith with
those around us.
We are looking at running
another parenting course
after the success of the last
one, while our young people
will be looking at some of
the key areas of faith.
We are also looking at our
corporate prayer life
together to help us grow
in our faith.
