Side of beef, side of pork, side of lamb and whole lamb nal pricing for each order will vary based on the animals actual size. We will do our best to give you the amount you ask for within the ranges listed on the order form, but please expect some variations. Actual weight and cost for orders that include these items will be conrmed 1-2 weeks before delivery. VARIETY BOXES Beef Variety Boxes include a mix of ground beef, stew beef, roasts and steaks. ABOUT OUR FARM We own 320 acres of land northeast of 100 Mile House in the Cariboo region of BC called Buffalo Creek. Visitors are always welcome! ABOUT OUR ANIMALS Our beef cattle herd is a mix of Limousin, Hereford and Black Angus, but we have no plans to be a big operation so we will never have more than 15-20 cows, including Charlie, our Black Angus bull, and Zoey, our Jersey milk cow. Our beef cattle are born and raised right here on the farm and are outside on natural pastures all year. During the winter, we feed them hay we harvest off our own hayelds during the summer. All our pastures and hayelds are pesticide and insecticide-free. Like our beef cattle, the lamb we sell is never grain fed and is raised on natural pastures. During the day, our pigs are free to roam our property and often graze alongside our cattle. At night we lock them up to keep them safe from predators. Though our pigs are grain-fed to ensure their nutrition needs are met, the grain is free of animal-byproducts and hormones. We do not use antibiotics on any of our animals. WHY GRASS-FED? Products from animals that are grass-fed have a truer avour, are lower in calories, fat and cholesterol and higher in omega 3 and CLA. (conjugated linoleic acid). We would be happy to send you articles supporting this so please let us know if you would like more information. Note: You will nd our products cook FASTER than comparable commercial products so please readjust your cooking times and check them often to avoid overcooking. For example: Beef roast (thawed): Cook at 400F for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 325F and cook for 20 minutes/pound. Beef roast (frozen): Cook at 400F for 30 minutes.
