Install Pantech PC Suite b4 Trying this.
1: Download this file adb.rar
2: Unrar this to C:\ drive on your computer.(or just copy adb folder inside C dr
ive)
3: Enable USB Debugging in phone, Connect phone to computer
4: Open command prompt as administrator.
6: Type "cd c:\adb" in command prompt
7: Type "adb devices" and press enter. If your device is detected by adb, you ar
e at half way success.
8:(a). Type "adb push Superuser3.1.3.zip /sdcard/external_sd/" and press enter.
CMD will show some file copy info.
(Do this If You Want to install CWM recovery also.)
(b). Type "adb push cwm-6.0.2.7.zip /sdcard/external_sd/" and press enter.(Do
this If You Want to flash CWM recovery also.)
9: Type "adb reboot bootloader". Wait for the phone to reboot and show a white s
creen with fast boot written on it. (If You Are stuck on it and Windows is not d
etecting device in fastboot mode then follow the misc steps stated very last of
this guide)
10: Type "fastboot boot recovery.img" (If you are stuck at this section, remove
datacable and connect again)
11: Phone will reboot to clockwork recovery. You need to select install zip from
sdcard. (Vol+ is up , Vol- is Down ,HOME / POWER / SEARCH buttons are ok.)
12:(a). Browse and select Superuser3.1.3.zip and install it.
(Do this If You Want to install CWM recovery also.)
(b). Browse and select cwm-6.0.2.7.zip and install it.
13: Reboot the phone :)
Now You Have CWM 6.0.2.7 (Latest Non Touch Recovery) + SuperUser Latest.
Misc steps :
Incase cell is not detected by windows during fast boot.
1. Right click on My computer and choose Manage.
2. From Left Pane in Manage Option Choose Device Manager.
3. Right click on unidentified device and choose update drivers.
4. Pop up will come with 2 options. Select Browse my computer for driver softwar
e .
5. Select the place where PC suite is installed, then select the folder "android
usb driver ver1". Click OK.
6. It will install Needed drivers, If that too fails then select Let me pick fro
m a list of device drivers on my computer.
7. Select Pantech adb driver ver1 or other, under android device and it will get
installed. (In Xp sometimes It wont Show Pantech adb Driver ver1 under android
devices, U just need to unplug device for 5 sec it will be visible again or u ca
n refresh by pressing back and android devices again).
