DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY; REPLAT OF INLOT 10243 AND PART OF INLOT 6502
FOR SPEEDWAY LLC
At the August 13 meeting of the Troy Planning Commission, the replat of In lot 10243 and part of
lnlot 6502, including the dedication of right-of-way was submitted for consideration. This parcel
of land is located at SR 55/Barnhart Road/Fenner Road. A Speedway station is located on the
corner of the property. A replat was submitted to extend the lot lines to increase the size of the
property for an expansion to add pumps for truck fueling. The entire parcel is owned by
Speedway LLC.
The owner is dedicating the additional right-of-way up to Fenner Road, though only required to
dedicate additional right-of-way adjacent to the new lot area. The total right-of-way to be
dedicated is 0.310 acres. While the dedication of the right-of-way is required, Council action is
also required to accept the dedication.
By unanimous vote, the Troy Planning Commission is recommending that the dedication of right-
of-way be accepted as submitted with the replat of lnlot 10243 and part of lnlot 6502.

Attached is the replat from Speedway - at SR 55, Barnhart, Fenner Roads.
Speedway ones this property and is replating to allow for an expansion of their
pumps to allow for truck fueling. In order to accommodate this additional
structure, they are required to replat and increase the size of the property. They
are required to dedicate additional right-of-way along this additional segment are
dedicating all the right-of-way required up to Fenner Road.
A total of 0.310 acres of right-of-way is to be dedicated.
Staff is requesting that Planning Commission recommend City Council to accept
the dedication of right-of-way.
