Hello!
how to configure s7-300 and s7.1200 communication through Profibus if I
have CM1242-5 module?
So in my case 313C-2DP will be master and CP1242-5 slave.
IS there any example for 300<-->1200 communication?

Hello,
I think fo rthe moment that kind of sample project doen't exist here. Basically
you need a GSD file for CM1242-5Download GSD File CM 1242-5 .There you
can find an info S7-1200 Profibus communicaion

I have similar problem. And I found the solution.
In hw config of s7-300,:
1: added gsd for CM-1242 address 3
then added 16 byte input and 16 byte output
2. DP address 2
in hw confihg of CM in tia:
1. added subnet profibus_1
2. address of cm-1242 is 3
3. then added transfer area 1 16 byte output and transfer area 2 16 byte
input
Look at the order of byte in hw config. You need to provide reverse order of
data to work properly.
