Structures, Ducting and Cable trays. The software shall be user friendly.
Software allow the user to work in 2D or 3D mode with full intelligence.

Software have detailed, ready to- use specifications, component data & parametric
information on over components.

Software have Piping Specs based on Standard ASME, DIN, JIS, South Africa, Hygienic,
Foods, PVC, FRP, Victaulic and many more.
Software support relational databases such as Oracle, SQL and MS-Access.

Software have an option to change the size of existing piping system so no need to re-
model it again.

Software have an option to change the piping specifications of existing piping systems so
no need to re-model it again.
Software have Ruled based Piping Systems

Software have facility to create Intelligent parametric Piping Assemblies and can be
stored it in a Libraries.
Software have a facility to move the components effortlessly with Drag-Lock option.

Software have AutoRoute feature where it multiple options while routing between two
points

Software have an option to drag the sections of pipe along with inline components to
change the location and elevations.

Software have Pipe Support modeling tool and it contain default piping support
standards and have the ability to create user defined pipe supports.

Software have the Discontinuity View palette. The palette provides numerous options to
locate disconnected and overlapped components.

Software generate automatic Bills of material and create accurate configurable bill of
material in the most popular database formats at any point in the design process.

Software shall be capable of generating 2D drawings in addition to 3D drawings, including

Plan, Elevation and Sections in both cases.
Software automatically generate stress isometrics with node numbers & stress analysis.

Software allow intelligent piping components checking against project P&ID's created in
P&ID software to maintain the consistency between Piping and P&IDs drawings.

Software use standard AutoCAD solids. It require no special enablers for viewing,
plotting or even editing in native AutoCAD.

Software have bi-directional integration with Piping Stress analysis package such as
Intergraphs CAESAR II and for Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchanger analysis such as
PVElite product, to reduce duplication of work and to ensure that both designer and
engineer are working with the latest and most accurate information available.
Software have online clash detection feature.

Software have hierarchical parametric modeller for modelling complex equipment, it

have vessels, tanks and exchangers modelling capabilities with items such as skirts, shells,
reducing cones, heads, body flanges, nozzles, platforms, ladders and supports, nozzle on
sump, etc.

Software must have the capabilities to generate industry standard isometrics and it
include software package such as Intergraphs ISOGEN.

Software include Steel modelling capabilities and provide full range of international steel
shapes & catalogs have utility that allows straight or curved steel members to be placed
on construction lines or at any place in the design. Editing members sizes, lengths, coping
and notching against adjoining members must be easy. Along with Piping Components,
steel members must be linked to project databases for full and comprehensive bills of
material reports. It allow creation of frames.

Software have capability to export 3D Steel model to CIS/2 file format for further
exporting to Structural Analysis software.

Model Review and Walk through capabilities be available in the software and it handle
even the largest 3D models. It facilities creation of movie files (AVIs etc.) and reviewing
comments with other Piping Users.

those supplied with the program.

Software provide a dynamic solution for defining and maintaining the structure of project
databases. Software use industry standard open database connectivity (ODBC) links to
provide industry best performance while maintaining data integrity.
Software have Bi-directional links with the database.

Software shall have capabilities to edit multiple component data which can be used to
modify the data on multiple P&ID components at one time.

Software have Check In/Check Out facility which can be used to check in any number of
drawings from one project directory into another project directory.

Software come with valves; equipments and process line reports and input forms that can
easily be modified to specific requirements.

Software have built in optional piping specification checking capabilities such that it
allow designers to create process diagrams that access the same specifications as used by
the Piping Software.

Software allow users to link an unlimited number of documents to their P & ID

components and this information be stored in the Project database. User be able to
view the linked documents.

Software have capabilities to convert old Legacy drawings to intelligent process &
instrumentation Diagrams.

Software allow P&ID's to be effortlessly published so that they can be viewed using
Windows Internet Explorer. Published projects also allow each component's database
information and any documents linked to them to be accessed from within browser, it
also be hosted on Internet or on an intranet locally.
Software have capability to create Automatic Loop Wiring diagrams.

Software have the capability to create Userdefined templates, such that users can
quickly define the instrument loop template drawing to their precise specifications.
