Industrial Energy Efficiency for Malaysian Manufacturing Sector (IEEMMS)

Dear Sir/Madam,
As part of the first mission of second round of Energy Management Systems (EnMS)
capacity building program for the UNIDO-GEF Industrial Energy Efficiency for Malaysian
Manufacturing Sector (IEEMMS), UNIDO International Experts will deliver intensive
training to potential national experts to a level such that they can train others.
The 2- Days Users training is targeted to person(s) designated by enterprises as
responsible for energy management. The training will guide participants through the Plan-
Do-Check-Act cycle as it applies to the ISO 50001 energy management standard.
Instructions and tools will be given on how to establish an effective energy policy, review
energy use, identify what is significant and opportunities for improvement, set objectives
and targets, establish an energy baseline and performance indicators.
You are cordially invited for the 2-days User Training on Energy Management Systems
(EnMS) - ISO 50001 conducted by United Nations Industrial Development (UNIDO)
International Experts. The details are as per below:
Option 1:
Program: 1-Day Refresher Training in Energy Management Systems (EnMS) ~ ISO
50001
Date: May 14

2014 (Wednesday)
Venue : FMM-Kuala Lumpur (tentative location)
Time: 8:30am -5:30pm

Option 2:
Program:2-Days User Training in Energy Management Systems (EnMS) ~ ISO 50001
Date: May 15th & 16th 2014 (Thursday & Friday)
Venue : Johor Bahru (exact location will be advised during attendance confirmation)
Time: 8:30am -5:30pm

** For those who would like to join the EnMS Expert Program Round 2 that will begin in May
2014 (with first Module to be carried out from 19

May), you will need to complete the
2-Days User Training and submit the application form before you are selected to continue

Please take note that the fee is RM 100.00 (One Hundred Ringgit) for the 2-Days User
EnMS training. The fee is exempted for factory personnel and government
agencies/stakeholders. Certificate of attendance will be given to participants who attend
both the training days.
