Dear Sir,
We thank you for your valued enquiry as referred above for the subject job works. As desired, we are pleased to
submit our offer for supply and application of 1.5 hour rated Akzo Nobel Chartek 1709, primer, Interguard 251
and top coat, Interthane 990 as per required specifications for this project. Our offer is detailed as under:JOB/MATERIAL SPECIFICATION :1. Check the existing surface.
2. Supply and apply compatible primer, fireproofing material with the specified thickness to achieve the desired
fire rating followed by compatible Top Coat.
OUR SCOPE OF WORK :1. We shall carryout the job as per above specification.
2. We shall supply the required fireproof paint, primer as well as the top coat at site.
3. We shall provide all the equipments, trained technicians, supervisors, etc. required to carryout the job as per
the above specifications.
4. We shall follow all the necessary QA/QC and safety procedures at site and shall comply with the standard
application procedures.
CLIENT OBLIGATIONS :1. Provision of potable water in proper storage tanks, 3-phase electricity, material storage, material and
equipment handling facility free of cost at site..
2. Provision of site access, gate passes, permission to work at night shift if required, etc. to our personnel.
3. Provision of dust free solid ground level, disposal of waste, masking if required, etc.
4. Provision of all the necessary erected scaffolding with proper operating platform, lifting facility to shift
machines, compressor and materials till the roof top.
5. Provision of proper supports for the structure members for carrying out the fireproofing paint works.
6. Provision of site office space with all preliminary facilities.
7. Provision of free food, accommodation and local transport for all our site personnel..
8. Any touch-up / repair of fireproofing works damaged due to any trade activity.
9. Any approvals required from the local authorities to be arranged and provided by the main contractor at no
extra cost.
10. Any Third party Inspection to be arranged and provided by the main contractor at no extra cost.
11. All other trade activities should be kept away from the location where the fire proofing work is in progress.
PRICE :Our unit rates to carry out fireproofing as per above specification shall be as per Price Annexure I attached
herewith.

PRICE VARIATION:1) The Prices given in the above mentioned Annexure are for the said quantities based on the BOQ provided by
you under assumption of continuous hindrance free work front.
2) All areas shall be measured / re-measured after application. Any area over and above the BOQ shall be
treated as a variation and separate prices shall be applicable.
3) If there is any idling of our manpower / machinery due to non availability of work front after mobilisation than
idling charges shall be applicable at mutually agreed rates.
TERMS OF PAYMENT :1) 40% advance payment to be released upon receipt of LPO towards procuring of paint.
2) The remaining to be released against monthly progressive invoices within 30 days of receipt.
3) Retention of any kind shall not be applicable.
VALIDITY :Our offer is valid for 3 weeks from the date hereof.
COMMENCEMENT:Commencement schedule of our scope of works shall be mutually discussed and agreed upon.
JOB/CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE :It is mandatory to receive our official job acceptance for any contractual obligations.
FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE :Standard Force Majeure Clause prevailing in Oman governs our offer.
INSURANCE :Our Employees are covered under Oman Workmen compensation policy however our quotation for the subject job
is based under the presumption that you have already effected the necessary / exclusive Insurance coverage to
the Machines / Equipment / Structures, etc., for the damage that might occur during the course of our job
execution.
