1. You must log in using your assigned username and password (e.g., bob/bob5). 2. Your guest logs in by going to fatpipedemo.com using their email address for the username to identify them along with your guest password. Usernames can contain any characters that are valid in an email address (specifically: letters, numbers, @, dot, dash, and underscore are all allowed -- no spaces). 3. The guest must log in within +/- 15 minutes of your login. So try to login around the same time your guest does. If your guest has problems and it takes them longer than 15 minutes to get in, just login again after they have logged in and the demo will be recorded. 4. Select a demo unit to log into. The username and password for everything except Spam Police is demo/12345 5. Whatever demo unit you go to first (via the demo unit page) is the one that gets logged for the demo, so make sure you click on the correct link for the demo you're doing.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT give out your own username and password! If you do, the demo will not be logged. Only give out your animal name to guests. In the future, we may add features that are exclusively available to FatPipe employees that login with their username and password and we would not want guests to have access to that information!

The areas found here are for the configuration of the network interfaces on the FatPipe. The standard FatPipe WARP (or Xtreme, or MPVPN, or IPVPN) has 4 Ethernet Ports, (1 LAN port and 3 WAN ports).
LAN Interfaces
Click the LAN tab.
Here is our LAN interface. It allows us to unobtrusively connect to your existing LAN without changing any LAN IP addressing. It is our gateway IP address connection to your firewall We are an open Ethernet in Ethernet out device. Our Giga-bit Ethernet interfaces auto- negotiate for immediate compatibility with 10 base -T, 100 base-T and 1000 Base -T Ethernet LANs. The majority of our applications use an IPV4 IP addresses; however, we are also IPV6 compliant This LAN interface allows for a common and simple gateway connection to your LAN. Lets stop for a moment so I can get more acquainted with your companys environment:
What kind of Internet connection(s) do you use?
Do you experience slow connection speeds because your bandwidth cant always keep up? Have you had times when your connection has been unreliable?
Are there any plans to upgrade to higher bandwidth, or to more reliable service?
Our Fatpipe devices offer customized and easy to implement solutions, to provide you with a stable and intuitive network, one that adjusts to your demands, on the fly. 4 In addition to being the single connection to your LAN, this LAN interface will accompany and direct all of the current and future WAN connections to this single IP address for simplified NAT translations. This interface allows for hierarchy subnet addressing in order to account for your IP LAN addressing schemes. MAC addresses on FatPipe interfaces are visible for network inventory management and connectivity The FatPipe future proofs your investment with open Ethernet interfaces, up to 2.2 gigabits of data throughput, IPV6 as well as SNMP compatibility FatPipe offers additional investment protection with a 30 day purchase guarantee; i.e. try it buy it, in order to assure that you are a satisfied and long term customer
WAN Interfaces
Click the WAN tab.
Here is our WAN interface. Our appliances can accommodate up to 12 WAN interfaces for total backplane throughput of over 2 Gigabits per second We are an aggregation device, not bonding. Bonding is confined to similar networks, access mediums and speeds. Aggregation allows the customer to take advantage of any services that are economically available in his local area in support of their business continuity designs. Because we are an Ethernet Connectivity Device, we can account for and accommodate any Ethernet hand off speeds with our intelligent auto negotiate option for 10, 100 or 1000 base-T compatibility. Route tests are always or never, depending on billed usage; i.e. mobile services or private network addresses. Every two seconds the WAN ports are tested for availability and stability. The indication arrow defines a quick up or down status. Link stabilizing factors determines the number of route test. Because of FatPipes consistent vigilance in testing all lines, you are assured that your backup services are live, on line, stable and readily available. Our aggregation flexibility is demonstrated by our ability to accommodate DHCP (dynamically assigned IP address for DSL, Cable or Wireless Services), PPPOE or Static IP address including IPV6 addresses. From our previous LAN screen we established a single interface towards your firewall or LAN. Now we direct or multi-home all of your WAN IP services toward the single LAN interface accommodating a one-to-many NAT translation by simply; Clicking, Selecting, and Populating with your FatPipe systems configuration tools. Services per interface are customized to include; Security (ping / non-ping), Remote Management, DNS, SNMP, SSH.
WAN interfaces can be aggregated together for a single high speed Ethernet connection with automatic fault tolerance, notification and restoration or used in a weighed primary / secondary configuration. Type field allows you to weigh or prefer a particular WAN facility over another. Once properly weighed when a certain saturation level is achieved FatPipe will allow spill-over or data overflow to a specific back up or secondary facility
Bandwidth up-loads and downs load levels are reserved for QoS prioritization and bandwidth allocation.
As you can see, the FatPipe interface provided a quick, user friendly, reliable configuration interfaces for managing multiple and diverse WAN technologies.
5 Network Tools / Map
Additionally our user interface is a simple source provisioning and trouble shooting of access facilities and networks.
Click the TOOLS category icon.
Click the DIAGNOSTICS tab.
Click the ROUTE TEST DISPLAY button.
The FatPipe device provides you an online network topology. From the simple entries of the previous LAN and WAN configuration screens our devices automatically prepare a real time network diagram. As you add, modify or delete FatPipe components and connectivity on your network, this topographical map is instantly updated. In the event of a network disruption, the map may assist in trouble shooting and isolating network failures. While a portion of the network is down, FatPipe will immediately stop the publishing of that specific IP address and route inbound or outbound traffic to alternate and available lines. Unlike BGP, FatPipe will never issue/broadcast an IP address if the facilities are not available. This minimizes the impact of network disrupts. From our browser interface, FatPipe provides simple network diagnostics with ping or trace routes. To ping a specific host, network device or to initiate a trace route simply enter an IP address or domain name of the remote host. With FatPipe deployed on your network you have immediate real time views of how your network is performing. In addition, you have the assurance and confidence that your backup plans are active and available. The performance of your network and back up services are never in question. All FatPipe networks management tools, stats, reports, configurations, maintenance and administration tools are inherent in your one-time purchase price of our product
Load Balancing
Now that we have set up our interfaces, the FatPipe appliance gives us very granular and robust control of how the network is used.
Click the LOAD BALANCING category icon.
SmartDNS
Click the SmartDNS tab
FatPipe offers an efficient, economical and effective alternative to BPG for the management of bi- directional load-balancing of multiple and diverse access WAN topologies. In order to reduce the complexity of inbound load-balancing the FatPipe utilized a recently patented SmartDNS technology. SmartDNS technology allows the FatPipe appliance to literally become the primary DNS service per interface facility. A complete set of DNS zone records are configured on the appliance. These records include: A records are Host's IP address. Address record allowing a computer name to be translated into an IP address. Each computer must have this record for its IP address to be located. NS records are name service or Hosts or domain name server. MX records are a Hosts or domains Mail Exchanger. CNAME records Host's canonical name allows additional names or aliases to be used to locate a computer. PTR records area a Hosts domain name, host identified by its IP address TXT records are generic Texts of Text Records 6 SVR records are service locations Fatpipe offers a short time to live or kill time per session inquiry and DNS resolution. In this manner we minimize or nullify DNS memory caching in the cloud, forcing the DNS resolution to be determined and resolved by the premise based FatPipe DNS servers.
For further explanation direct them to www.fatpipeinc.com/smartdns
FatPipe DNS services can be dual powered per units or sold in primary, secondary pairings for DNS reliability and back up. Because you have immediate access to your DNS services, you can easily add, delete or modify DSN applications without being dependent upon your carrier or internet service provider.
Route Tests
Click the ROUTE TEST tab
The FatPipe knows all a customers IP addresses as well as provides the authoritative DNS server for each and every facility or carrier connected to the device. Because the FatPipe is the guardian of all the customers IP addresses it can issue or publish anyone of the available IP addresses for any DNS record. However, just because we have the IP address, does not mean that the facility associated with that IP address is stable, reliable or available. Prior to issuing or publishing a specific IP address, our devices will quickly perform a route test; i.e. facility test to assure the quality and quickness of the route. The requested session is awarded to the facility that is performing the best at that given moment.
FatPipe will never issue an IP address to a downed facility; thus avoiding lost of data, end user disruption or the constant retransmission of data. In addition, FatPipe does not have to reboot for updated routing records and thus reducing the impact of network flapping. Because FatPipe tests the lines for each and every session prior to issues an IP address, this greatly improves the utilization and performance of a customers bandwidth investment. FatPipe is a dynamic, real-time, session based inbound and outbound load balancing device that provides for reliable connectivity, redundancy and greater bandwidth utilization
Algorithms
Click the ALGORITHMS tab
FatPipe has several out-bound load balancing options in order to increase the performance, utilization and reliability of your multi-carrier services:
Round Robin: Each outbound session is sequentially sent to the next link
Response Time: Routes by keeping track of the average latency on each link
Shortest Path / Fastest Route: Prior to each session we send a syn packet out each WAN interface. Whichever packet gets back the quickest is awarded the session
Weighted: Used in conjunction with the Load Balancing Weight number located on each WAN interface
Once any of the above load balancing algorithms is selected they are immediately applied, so that you can fine tune your bandwidth
These are dynamic real-time, on demand load-balancing algorithms, not static, pre-designed, pre-configured BGP load sharing. FatPipe assures that your current bandwidth investments are maximized to the fullest extent possible for performance, utilization, saturation, reliability and throughput Changes are made without the need, intervention of delay of contacting your ISP carrier or service vender.
7 Speed Charts
Click the TOOLS category icon.
Click the SPEED CHART tab.
FatPipe provides you the tools to fine tune your appliance.
These include real time network performance data for: Independent WAN analysis WAN comparison analysis Combined or aggregated WAN throughput Combined WAN inputs with LAN Ethernet speed Monitoring of a carriers Service Level Agreements The speed charts allows for real time views and performance measurements The charts permit one to immediately view and analysis the impact of different FatPipe load- balancing algorithms in order to fine tune bandwidth utilization, economics as well as data applications As customers add new applications and programs to their network, FatPipe immediately assess the impact of these applications/programs in order to determine additional bandwidth requirements and the prioritization of data. It also helps determine when and where additional bandwidth requirements are needed or how the network responds in a crisis mode; i.e. measures the performance of your business continuity plan. In addition the following network diagnostic tools and reports are available: Ping and Trace route capabilities System Statistics Route Test Display Customized Traffic logging information Customized Session information

Appendix: GUI Trouble Shooter
Port 5001 TCP and UDP must be opened up on their Firewall for the Java applet to communicate with the FatPipe.
The customer must be using Microsoft Internet Explorer, we recommend version 6.0.
The customer must have the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine installed. (Our GUI will also work with the Sun JVM, but there will be windows that are not sized correctly and other cosmetic problems).
You can check to see if the Microsoft JVM is installed on the customers machine by having them open an Internet Explorer window, then go to: Tools > Internet Options from the menu. Click on the Advanced tab and scroll down about half way down the list of settings until you see the Sun Java or Microsoft JVM settings. There will be a box called something like JIT Compiler for virtual machine enabled (requires restart). Make sure this is checked.
If they do not have the Microsoft JVM installed, they can download the installer from our website (www.FatPipeinc.com/jvm).
After making changes to Java settings (like which version of Java you are using) you always need to close all of your Internet Explorer windows and then try to reconnect. (All Java settings are loaded when the first Internet Explorer window is opened, so ALL Internet Explorer windows must be closed to force this to happen again).
If they still cannot access the GUI use the product Installation guides instead of the live GUI.
