Successful graduates of the MABT program earn Professional Certification from the
Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). This is 1st-12th grade certification with
Bible endorsement.
Program Director:
Dr. Anita Cooper Teach Bible in public school districts in the United States: Bible classes are currently offered in
over 18 percent of public school districts in the United States.
Teach Bible in Christian schools in the United States: Each year CIU receives scores of requests for Bible teachers, more
than we can fill.
Teach Bible in international schools all over the world: These schools enroll national students as well as American students.
Often these opportunities are in limited access countries.
Teach Bible to nationals in government schools overseas: Many countries in Africa, South America, and other areas either
require or allow Bible to be taught in the public government schools. Many of these classes are taught in English. Bible teaching
opportunities to nationals exist on every continent in the world.
Teach in Bible institutes and colleges overseas: As the church grows around the world, there is an increasing need for
training believers in the Bible. Serve in church work, such as youth ministry and Christian Education. These are church ministries
which require special emphasis in Bible teaching.

Strategically located in the heart of South Carolina, Columbia is a bustling capital city with a distinctly Southern flavor. We invite you to pull up a rock-
ing chair, sample some local cuisine, and find a great place to launch your life’s next adventure. Although the city of Columbia is only about 120,000
people, the two counties that make up the metro area – Lexington and Richland – total about 600,000 individuals.
Columbia is a family-friendly city. The cost of living is affordable, and the weather is great. The average high temperature in January is 58 degrees!
There are five public school districts in the Columbia area. Ben Lippen School, a ministry of Columbia International University is a Christian, college
preparatory school offering instruction for pre-K through 12th grade. For more information visit www.benlippen.com.
