LIFE OF
CHRIST
Class on the
Four Gospels
Starts TODAY
9:45am
Bethany Room

If you are looking for a class to examine the
gospels and seek information on Jesus, this is
the course!

Pastor David will begin leading this course on
Sunday mornings at 9:45am in the Bethany
Room. The course is set up to use the
Synopsis of the Four Gospels, a book that
gives the reader a topical study of each story
that is written in the gospels. For Example: if a
particular story about Jesus is found in both
Matthew and Luke, the synopsis presents both
versions of the story, side by side, so they can
be read at the same time and examined. If you
would like a copy of this book, please contact
the church office. The price (discounted) is
$26.

Pastor David also uses small group discussion
and visualization of the Biblical Story in the art
of the church to encourage conversations
about the texts. The purpose of this course is
to help Christians to know Jesus Christ more
fully. To know the grace of Christ, the love of
Christ, the ways of Christ for our daily lives.
That is what we want for ourselves, our family,
our friends, and our world around us. By
carefully studying the life of Christ, it is our
hope that the Spirit of Jesus Christ may come
to live in us more fully.

THANK YOU!
We extend our sincere gratitude and thanks
for those who have supported our quilt
project, school, health, layette and sewing kit
ministry to Lutheran World Relief. Today we
thank you once more for participating in our
noisy offering. This money is used to help ship
these gifts of love to someone who needs
them most.

Celebrate with us today as we recognize all
the women of this congregation: Those who
help by sewing a quilt, those who donate food
or work at a funeral or those who visit a
home-bound member of our church family.
For those behind the scenes who head up
committees and give so generously of their
time. Those who sing in the choir or praise
bands, paint walls, teach Sunday School, VBS
and confirmation. Those who pray for
members of our congregation and our
congregation as a whole. We thank you!
