THE CR MM3.0 MAMMO CASSETTE IS
DESIGNED FOR USE IN COMBINATION WITH
THE CR MAMMO PLATE FOR DIAGNOSTIC
MAMMOGRAPHY APPLICATIONS. IT FEATURES
A NARROW HINGE TO ALLOW SCANNING RIGHT
UP THE CHEST WALL.
Two formats
The CR MM3.0 Mammo cassette is available in 18 x 24 cm
and 24 x 30 cm sizes. Having both allows the X-ray of
nearly any breast size.
A distinctive feature of the cassette design is its narrow
hinge. More of the breast tissue close to the chest
wall becomes thus available for scanning, offering an
increased amount of information during scanning.

CR MM3.0 Mammo cassette - combined with CR Mammo
plates - is part of Agfa's CR Mammography system.
Switching from conventional mammography is made
plain easy: only a re-calibration of the AEC of the existing
mammography X-ray unit is needed.

The CR MM3.0 Mammo Cassette used in the Mammography
application is only available outside the US and Canada.

The CR MM3.0 Mammo cassette offers all the advantages

Cassette identification and readout
The CR MM3.0 Mammo cassette is supplied with special
mammo labels and stickers. This allows for easy
identification and avoids confusion with other types
of cassettes. The cassettes are pre-initialized before
leaving the factory so that the digitizer will automatically
recognize the cassettes as Mammo cassettes. If for
some reason the cassette is not pre-initialized, the user
can easily carry out this operation on an ID-station,
initializing the cassette on-site.
