4, Kiss, Kerrang!, The Box, Smash Hits, and Magic.
According to BARB it has an audience share of 0.4% as of August 2014.

On the night it launched, the channel had an on-screen countdown which counted
down from ten minutes down to zero. During this countdown, clips from popular
music videos were shown. The channel launched at 7pm with a promotional advert
for the channel and then it faded into Davina and Steves 20 Big Ones.

4Music has may different programmes including: Todays 4Music Top 10, Fresh
Music Top 20, Your Official Top 20, The 4Music Buzz Chart, 4Music Big Ones,
UKHot40, The UK Airplay Top 20, The Month with Miquita, Orange unsignedAct,

Viva
A music channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Launched on 26

It is owned by Viacom International Media Networks Europe.
Their slogan is Up your Viva!
According to BARB it has an audience share of 0.3% as of August 2014.
It has a range of programmes including: Pretty Little Liars, Catfish: The TV Show,
The City, The Hills, Brooke Knows Best etc.

The first music video to be shown on the channel was Alphabeats The Spell.
It was originally broadcasted 24 hours a day until nick Jr. was removed from the
schedule and its hours were reduced to 9:00-6:00. On 1

August 2011, it was
further reduced to 9:00-3:00. The unused hours are now used for teleshopping.




MTV
Launched on 1

It is owned by Viacom International Media Networks Europe.
The headquarters is in New York.

The original purpose of MTV was to be Music Television which would play music
videos 24 hours a day and 7 days a week guided by people known as VJs (video
jockey).
The VJs would record intro and outro segments to music videos as well as music
news, interviews, concert dates and promotions. These would be pre-recorded and
would appear to air live across the MTV program schedule 24 hours a day.
During the early days of the channel, there would be guest VJs who would take
over the channel for an hour.
The original MTV channel no longer plays music videos 24 hours a day and 7 days a
week but many of its spin-off channels do such as MTV Hits and MTV Jams.

According to BARB it has an audience share of 0.2% as of August 2014.
Some MTV shows include: MTV News, My Super Sweet 16, Pimp My Ride,
Geordie Shore, Plain Jane, The Valleys and Beauty School Cop Outs.

It has been renamed many times. At first it was called MTV UK & Ireland (1 July
1997-22 February 2004) then MTV UK (22 February 2004-22 July 2007), MTV One (22
July 2007 - 1 July 2009) and now it is called MTV (1 July 2009-present).

The current presenters are Laura Whitmore (since 2008), Bluey Robinson (since
2012) and Becca Dudley (since 2012).
