A Fall Celebration of the Arts
on Marthas Vineyard
Art*Island is a Five Day Festival of the Arts, Here.
M
arthas Vineyard is Art Island, a place of unstinting imagination.
Creativity is everywhere from boatbuilding to abstract contemporary
painting, from the staging of world renowned modern dance to glass
and ceramic arts. Novelists, poets, photographers many well known
worldwide, others more known by neighbors all call Marthas Vineyard home. As much
as these individuals create their art, their arts and imagination create our community.
Art*Island Festival celebrates many of these artist and the arts and creative spirit of this
vital community.

More than twenty arts organizations and
businesses from across the Island and
dozens of people have contributed to the
efort to make Art*Island an engaging,
festive and imaginative event. Through
their eforts and support Marthas Vine-
yard now has an incredibly diverse and
collaborative community of imagineers
who are dedicated to sharing the arts on
Marthas Vineyard with the world and
to putting on a festival of arts that will
bring New England to Marthas Vineyard.
The Islands Imagination
Come to Art*Island and let Vineyard arts,
ideas (and parties) fuel your imagination.
