A LIGHT IN MIDDLE OF THE ABYSS

That one shy chick called James which one day dreamt with being a
magnificent eagle flying around the desert of California what
imposed some respect to this kind of raptor birds. The mammals
and the reptiles were always afraid of being the next meal for the
eagles and their offsprings. Nevertheless, the chick thought that it
had to chase because he needed to eat something for summoning
strength and intelligence since it meant the animals were its siblings.
One day, the chick started his proof of flight, everything was fine
until it fell down to the rocks. e felt sad because the chicks learn to
fly accompanied by their parents but he didn!t, since his mother died
due to some hunters kidnapped it and they finished with its life, all of
this for a ridiculous bet of money.
The vultures and the hawks were flying, and as soon as they noticed
the chick fell down, they took it as a mockery ob"ect up to the point
that they asked for thinking in surrendering because the chick was a
poor and thin birdie and its wings were so little. #esides, this poor
chick was hurt by the fall and it felt sad for the critics, he wasn!t able
to recover its movements. $uddenly, an eagle called %aria landed in
this site and helped to the chick and it put the chick on its back and
took it to the cliff in middle of the desert of $anta %onica, California
where its home was located.
This eagle had two chicks as well. $he offered to the hurt chick
some fish meat and said&'it!s O(, don!t attend to the comments, don
!t let that the critics bothers you) all of us has had any kind of
situations like this. #ut if you need a support, you will always count
on me and my chicks. *ou will never be alone. +on!t worry.
$o, James went out with %aria and its chicks, which got along.
%aria,s chicks were faster and more intelligent than James
therefore, the poor and isolated chick felts like a loser seeing that its
dream of becoming an eagle, won!t come true while the rest of its
species was growing and developing their flight and ability of chase.
-hile %aria!s chicks were flying normally, James fell down to the
floor again. This time, James wasn!t able to resist its sadness and
croaked strongly. The other animals laughed of it again and it felt it
was shameful.
.n middle of its sadness James said&'why/, why happens this/, -hy
me/, why aren!t you here mommy/. %aria walked up to the birdie,
and she tried to console it with these clever words&'you,re a
wonderful creature, your attempts and the fact of having to your
mother for being as . am nowadays even better than me make you
wonderful and also humble and a daily life warrior. Think about it,
you!re incredible James. -e,ve belonged to one of the most
awesome animal species. 0et!s come with me and try to fly together.

its wings were taken by the wind and the chick flapped intensely and
moved through the heaven easily. %aria felt proud of James effort,
therefore she purposed to the chick to stay with her and her chicks.
2inally, she became in the mother which the human cruelty snatched
to one chick the possibility of have a mother love when he barely
was born.
Two years later, %aria and her children fly around all the deserts and
forests of the 3nited $tates looking for a better wellness. #esides,
they usually land on a military base close to +allas, Texas where
they are respected and the soldiers treat them as their emblem of
fortress and a constant fighting against the adversities what they
mean in the real context.
Dedicated to my dear teacher who always has trusted in me
even when I thought it was over for me. Nevertheless, she has
been perfectly a synonym of an angel sent by God. Ill never
