is the Spirit of prophecy.
Revelation 19:10

Giving nearly total attention to the phrase, “the Spirit of prophecy,” many have made much of the text seen just above. And these words certainly do contain much in the way of instruction. Yet “the Spirit of prophecy” has been attributed to the supposedly infallible writings of certain persons (religious leaders) while still others allege this Spirit only abides within a certain organization (
theirs,
of course). But the “the Spirit of prophecy” belongs to
hwhy
1
—not to any organization—and His is the power
2
to place the Shekinah Splendor upon and within those who obey Him.
3
And in the present study, we will see much significant and edifying evidence that
the Spirit of Prophecy
is directly connected to
The Shema
—what the Messiah called the Greatest Commandment in all of the Torah. This study also addresses another significant topic. There is, in our days, an erroneous teaching that purports the Name of
hwhy
is “too holy” to be pronounced. Ironically, this teaching comes forth from many Jewish sectors, despite the Torah record which shows the patriarch Abraham—along with Mosheh, David, and all the prophets—spoke forth the Name of
hwhy
. This manuscript will further show the error of that teaching. The apostles of the Lamb proclaimed that Elohim gives His Spirit to those who obey Him,
4
and we will be amazed to see the impartation of Ruach ha’Qodesh
5
that comes to those who give utterance to
The Shema
(which includes speaking forth/pronouncing the Qadosh Name) as they seek
hwhy
 and uphold the Torah.
6
To our awe and amazement, this impartation of the Spirit is actually revealed within
The Shema
itself. We will see
The Shema
is the beginning love-faith expression which leads to yet greater love-derived obedience and that, as Elohim did with the Hebrew prophets of old, the Spirit of

, the Light bearing

Shekinah Splendor dwells over these words, opening the ears and the eyes of those who are ready to hear and obey. The result is not only wisdom and insight into the Torah, but prophetic visions into those things which are yet to come. And not only is it important for believers to
reverently
 speak forth the Name of
hwhy
, but we will also confirm the all-pervasive importance of “
The Shema
”—the commandment by which
eSwhy
the Messiah taught us to love
hwhy
as we uphold the Eternal precepts embodied in the Age-Abiding Torah. This Torah is the age-enduring Word which
hwhy
has commanded across the many eons of time it will still take before the 1000 generations prophesied

The Shema: The Greatest Commandment and the Testimony of
eSwhy
In other studies, we have seen how the Messiah of Yisrael set forth
The Shema
as the greatest, most preeminent commandment in all of the Torah.
8
We will review that topic for those newly joining the topic. In Hebrew, the word
emS
/shema means “hear,” but in certain contexts, this word means “to hear and obey.” That this is the case will be seen in a number of places within the Torah. The first we  ponder is a word which was spoken by
hwhy
over the life of our forefather, Abraham. When Abraham heard the Voice of
hwhy
, he also upheld/kept the commandments, statutes, and Torah of El Shaddai:
… Because that Abraham obeyed (
emS
/shema/heard)  My voice, and kept My charge, My commandments,  My statutes, and My laws.
B’reshit/Genesis 26:5
9
 Abraham
heard
the Voice of the Spirit and he
obeyed

hwhy
. And what was the result of the patriarch’s faith? Through love-driven faith, Abraham upheld the Torah, even as we see in the above-cited text.
hwhy
would later require, through Mosheh (Moses), a certain obedience of Pharaoh; and the path mandated to the king of Egypt was that he must let Yisrael be released from their centuries of  bondage. As we read the texts provided, note that the ruler of Egypt physically
heard
the words and warnings of Mosheh, however, Pharaoh refused to
hear/obey
:
 And Pharaoh said, Who is
hwhy
 , that I should obey (
emS
/shema/hear) His voice to let Yisrael go?  I know not
hwhy
, neither will I let Yisrael go.
Shemot/Exodus 5:2
7
 Deuteronomy 7:9, Psalm 105:8, Matthew 5:17-20

(and so with Genesis 27:43 and 28:7)

 3
So it was with the children of Yisrael; they
heard
what Mosheh said when he spoke, but when all was said and done, they ultimately did not
hear/listen/obey
:
 And Mosheh spoke before
hwhy
, saying, Behold, the children of Yisrael have not hearkened (
emS
/shema/hear) to me; how, then, shall Pharaoh hear (
emS
/shema/hear) me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
Shemot/Exodus 6:12
10
Of course, this was just their initial reaction; the children of Yisrael did eventually hear, believe, and obey. And within this same time period,
hwhy
actually warned Mosheh that Pharaoh would
not
 hear/obey:
But Pharaoh shall not hearken (
emS
/shema/hear) to you, that I may lay My hand upon Egypt, and bring forth My armies, and My people, the children of Yisrael, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
Shemot/Exodus 7:4 And so Pharaoh
heard
, but he did not truly hear/obey:
13 And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened (
emS
 /shema/hear) not unto them; as
hwhy
had said … 16 And you shall say to him,
hwhy
Elohim of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, Let My people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, heretofore,  you would not hear (
emS
 /shema/hear).
Shemot/Exodus 7:13, 16
11
 Yet, above all things,
hwhy
desires for His people to hear and obey His Voice:
25 And he cried to
hwhy
 , and
hwhy
showed him a tree, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There He made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He  proved them. 26 And He said, “If you will diligently

(
ewms
) hearken (
emst
) to the voice of
hwhy
your Elohim, and will do that which is right in His eyes, and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes,  I will put none of the diseases upon you, which I have put upon the Egyptians: for I am
hwhy
 that heals you.
Shemot/Exodus 15:25-26 “If you will diligently hearken” (a phrase seen in verse 26) literally reads in the Hebrew, “If
hearing
, you will
hear
,” or, “If
hearing
, you
hear
.” Both words are rooted in the Hebrew word
emS
/shema. So these ponderings set the stage for us to  better understand
The Shema
 —what
eSwhy
 taught as the Foremost Commandment
10
 (likewise Exodus 6:30)
