ZIGZAG FINGERLESS GLOVES

a design by WHOLE EARTH EDUCATION

This simple pattern was originally developed as a STASHBUSTER. The stitch pattern was adopted
from Barbara G. Walker's A Forth Treasry of !nitting "atterns#. The gloves are knit flat$ or sideways$
and re%ire sewing p. &adly$ ' contemplated calling this pattern the GLOBAL WARMING MITTS$
since ' find myself reaching for these more and more this winter$ and less and less for the fll(bodied
mitts ' sed to en)oy seasonally. &hare the charity of this free pattern by knitting some p for friends$
loved ones or complete strangers... and let's redce those carbon emissions*... "eace*

will be a bit shorter. 'f yor knitting is looser than mine$ yor gloves will be a bit longer. 'f yo like a
shorter glove$ a ,8 of 9: sts with one less pattern repeat is also an option.
'f yo do wish to knit a swatch$ ,8 ;. stitches and knit$ in pattern$ for 6/(61 cm +0(< inches-.
For me$ ;. stitches in pattern = : cm +)st over 9.1 inches-. Ad)st yor needle si>e if yo wish.
