Thinking about yourself in general, list some of your strengths and areas for growth. What are you good at?
What are you not so good at?
I would consider my strengths to be mathematics, my studying habits, cooking, and my commitment towards
manual labor. My weaknesses would be my slow writing speed and my testing speed.
How might you show perseverance and commitment during your CAS programme?
During my CAS program, I try to show commitment by continuing my groups plan for the CAS program even
when others have left or given up, and I will be present for every meeting.

What issues of global importance do you think you might encounter during your CAS programme?
During my CAS program, I may encounter the issue of poverty while I am helping with elderly homes that have
fallen on difficult times in the past.


What is an ethical implication of an action?
An ethical implication of an action is when one chooses to do an action for reasons that he/she believes to be
morally good with the intention of doing something morally good.


Discussing with students/ teachers who are aware of the CAS programme at BSQ; what activities do you think
you might be interested in being involved in during your course?
During my course I would be interested in being involved in the Mock United Nation (MUN), ecological art, and
the Duke of Edinburgh.


Are there any new activities or projects you would like to start as part of your CAS programme? If so, what are
they?
There is one new activity that I wish to start as part of my CAS program, that program would be to create a
paintball team for my school.

What new challenges do you think you might encounter during your CAS programme?
During my CAS program, I may encounter challenges such as communication with those who need me to be
more proficient in Spanish to understand me, difficulties with acquiring sufficient funds to help those at the
elderly home, and keeping record of every member of my CAS group.

What new skills might you gain during your CAS programme?
During my CAS program I will improve upon skills such as my Spanish speaking, organizing a larger group, and
catering towards the elderly.


What does collaboratively mean?
The word collaboratively refers to when something is done through collaboration and working towards a common
goal as a group.

What are some skills that allow a person to work collaboratively with others?
To work collaboratively with others, an individual must have skills in communication with others, the ability to be
flexible with any sudden changes within the group, and a tolerance for trying new things and learning new skills
to adapt to the situation.

Write two more learning outcomes in the table. Two goals that you would like to achieve during the course of
your diploma.
During the course of my diploma, I would like to learn to coordinate large groups and motivate my group. I also
hope to learn to improve my Spanish in order to better communicate with others.

What life skills do you want to take with you after you complete your diploma course?
After completing my diploma course, I hope to learn about remembering to imagine life in the shoes of others.
