In Local News There has been yet another homicide in the city of Newark, New Jersey, marking the 65th death just this year in the city. The spokeswoman from the Essex County Prosecutors office, Katherine Carter, has been stabbed to death on Goldsmith Avenue. She was pronounced dead at 3:58am with no leads at this moment. In Hoboken, New Jersey, there has been a new bill passed for $14 million dollars in order to make Washington Street much more pedestrian friendly. This is yet another attempt at making New Jersey safer for bicyclists and other people who would rather walk than drive to their destination. Many corners are being implemented with cross walks and stop lights in order to boost the safety of its inhabitants. There are also going to be two bike lanes, one going north, and one going south, to keep bicyclists out of the way of cars and out of danger.
The PATH train on 33rd street has been temporarily shut down as of yesterday.
Although New Jersey Transit is now honoring all PATH tickets for travelers and commuters to get back and forth to work, passengers are still in an outrage. Officials claim that this is all due to a track condition because of an electrical fire in New York City. Those who ride the PATH have succombed to their aggravation and are now moving their thoughts to social media to attempt to try and resolve the issue. The death of a Rutgers student is still under investigation, as officials now claim that the death may have been related to alcohol, although the autopsy has not been completed yet. Caitlyn Kovacs, a 19 year old student at the New Brunswick university, had been at a fraternity party that night. Kovacs was a sophomore who was studying environmental and biological sciences focusing on animal science.
The United States of America has launched its new military stealth jet, the F22. Coming in at a price far more than any of us could imagine, a whooping $412 million dollars, the militaristic vehicle has made its debut with the Air Force and has been used against the forces of ISIL in Syria and Iraq. The jets cost, which was supposed to be three times less than that, is still having problems with its inner mechanics. The Senator of Pennsylvania has come out as gay this week, stating Im gay, get over it in his press conference regarding the matter. Although many people are still against the spectrum of homosexuality, it is becoming more and more acceptable in the United States. As other states are starting to legalize marriage between homosexuals, some are staying conservative to their beliefs and keeping things the way they have been in prior years. The LGBT community has been getting much more support from political entities since the coming out of political figures, sports stars, and other famous people across the United States.

A massive rally in New York City over climate change has attempted at making a dent in the political standpoint of the issue. Tens of thousands of people have participated in the march, which traversed through Manhattan just two days ago. Many celebrities such as Al Gore, Leonardo DiCaprio and Chris Rock have taken part in the walk in order to bring extra attention to the cause. The Environment Defense Fund, which sponsored the event, expected about one hundred thousand people to come to the event.

Three people have been left dead in a UPS shooting in Alabama. An employee who was recently fired had returned to the company office with a weapon and opened fire on their late co- workers. Two employees were killed in the incident, and the shooter was also found dead with what seemed to be a self inflicted gun wound. Both employees were said to be higher ranked in the company. The scene is still under investigation, and the FBI remains to have no comment on the situation.

In International News
French militants, who have been following American airstrikes in Syria, have started attacking Islamic State Militants via their air force. After only two days of strikes, the French have moved back to their country and are relying on their surveillance systems to keep an open eye on the movements of ISIL. They have retreated in terms of fear when it comes lone wolf fighters, which are members of Islamic State that attack under the same terms of guerilla warriors.

A French mountain guide in Algeria has been beheaded by al-Qaeda forces in Algeria today. A video from Euronews.com has complemented the story by noting that terrorists serving both al- Qaeda and ISIL have been going out of their way to kill anyone who is not on their side. Herve Gourdel, the 55 year old mountain guide who was captured against his will in Algeria, was taken hostage on Sunday. The local al-Qaeda group who is being held responsible for these actions have been told by their leaders to kill all European and American citizens who cross their path. In Sports An exciting night for Ray Rice. The owner of the Baltimore Ravens, Steve Biscotti, has released a press conference pertaining to the issue at hand with Rice. He had apologized for the football player in order to serve an answer to those who are doubtful of his legacy. Federer, a Spaniard tennis player, has replaced Nadal in the new tennis league for the 2015 tour season. The seasons tournament starts on November 28th.
