a) %n a revolving credit in addition to the usance charges as &a( above
Commitment charge on the 8etter of Credit amount shall be levied at
the rate of 0.21% &minimum -s. 255.! ( for ever# $eriod of 2 months
or $art thereof for the $eriod of liabilit# from the date of o$ening of the
credit to the last date of its validit#.
b( %n each reinstatement' usance charges according to tenor as stated
above.

3" &dvising Inland $etters of Credit '
)hen advising 7nland 8etters of Credit o$ened b# Corres$ondent ban*s &which shall
include 8etters of /uthorit#' orders to negotiate(' the advising ban*s shall lev# advising
commission at 0.10 $ercent of each 8.C with a minimum of -s. 130.! and a maximum of
-s.2250.!. if such credit does not carr# the confirmation. / ban* shall further charge a
flat commission of -s. 121.! for advising each amendment to the 8.C.
4. Confirmation of Inland letters of Credit '
7f an advising ban* confirms a Corres$ondentEs credit' it should collect a commitment
charge for the full validit# of the credit at the rate of 0.21% for ever# ?uarter or $art
thereof sub6ect to a minimum of -s. 121.! as well as usance charge according to the
tenor of the bill as $er 1 a(.
!. -ransfera6le $etters of credit '

)hen the transfers are made under a Transferable 8etter of Credit &whether full or in
$art and whether endorsed on the credit itself or not(' a flat charge of -s. 121.! shall be
made for each advice of transfer' exce$t when the name of the beneficiar# of the credit
is changed on instructions received directl# from the o$ening ban*. The transfer charge
shall be for the account of the first beneficiar# of the credit unless otherwise s$ecified.
%n all 8etters of Credit calling for usance drafts to be drawn on and acce$ted b# ban*s'
an acce$tance commission shall be charged at the rate of 0.21%$.m. with a minimum of
-s. 121.! $.m.
7f a charge is to be collected from the beneficiar# and he refuses to $a# the charge it
must be collected from the o$ener &a$$licant for the credit (.
7. *egotiation Charges'
The egotiating branch shall lev# negotiation charges at the following rates;

"or bills over -s. 2.50 la*hs F 0.20 % with a minimum of -s.1225.!

date of reimbursement
Since the negotiation charges given in the schedule are com$rehensive covering both
as$ects of cost of handling and cost of funds' as o$ined b# the committee' no further
charges should be a$$lied for the bills negotiated under 8Cs exce$t the $rescribed
negotiation charges and other out of $oc*et ex$enses.
7f the collecting ban* is not the negotiating ban*' the charges as a$$licable to the G
Collection of >ills G be levied b# the collecting ban*.
8. O.t of pocket e>penses '
/ll out of $oc*et ex$enses such as $ostages' tele$hones etc' shall be collected from
the beneficiar# unless otherwise s$ecified.
9. 0.arantees on acco.nt of discrepancies in doc.ments '
/ commission of 0.20% with a minimum of -s. 121.! shall be charged for 6oining in
customersE guarantee and for giving guarantees on behalf of customers to other ban*s
in res$ect of discre$ancies in documents negotiated under 8etters of Credit when
$a#ment received under reserve is credited to the beneficiar#Es account. However' no
such charge should be recovered if mone# received under reserve at the re?uest of the
customer is not $arted with.

s$ecific reserve(' ban*s will $a# to the negotiating ban* &in the case of -estricted 8.Cs(
the face value of the bill together with interest at the commercial rate of the negotiating

10. Certificates '
)hen the beneficiar# as*s for attestation of Commercial 7nvoice at the time of
negotiation.collection' such attestation' ma# be done free of charge but should the
beneficiar# as* for attestation of invoices on a subse?uent occasion then charge of -s.

he finds it necessar# to do so.
