The Philippines Project Asenso
Teaching Micro-financing and Entrepreneurship

AIESEC is an international organisation that aims to
develop leadership through international exchange
experiences. Go Volunteer, powered by AIESEC, is a 6-
to-8-week volunteer abroad experience that allows you
to develop yourself personally and professionally
through developing the community that you live in.
About Project Asenso
Project Asenso aims to bring international
entrepreneurship and micro-financing knowledge to
develop more sustainable and more competitive "sari-
sari stores". Local store owners will be provided with
learning opportunities on finance, merchandising,
store management, and customer management, and
will be mentored and advised closely by our
international volunteers in order to improve and enrich
their businesses.
Project Activities
Visit and analyse operation of sari-sari
stores
Receive training on the Philippines economies
and cultures
Deliver session on entrepreneurship based on
your analysis and learnings
Mentor the owners and facilitate the changes
in management of the "sari-sari" stores and
devise solutions when needed
Facilitate a week-long culminating sell-off to
evaluate the effectiveness of the training
based on increase in sales. Document the
outcome of the project.
Participate in orientation activities and local
committee meetings hosted by AIESEC.

Accommodation

A PACE Grant of $1,300 is available to help finance your
experience if you are accepted in FOHS 300.

Subject and Cultural Education

through developing the community that you live in.
About Legacy
Legacy is a project that aims to empower the youth by
driving love for learning through advocating basic
literacy in English, Math and Arts, as well as childrens
rights and cultural education.
Project Activities
Teach English and Math to children
Make the lesson plan, modules and activities,
and facilitate the education of the children
Share his culture to the children of the
community, including national attire, food,
games, dances, teaching basic foreign
language
Be responsible for the children in the partner
community as their teacher
Document the progress of the project
throughout the internship and submit an
evaluation report

Healthy Lifestyle Education
Academic Units: FOHS300, HLTH 300
AIESEC is an international organisation that aims to
develop leadership through international exchange
experiences. Go Volunteer, powered by AIESEC, is a 6-
to-8-week volunteer abroad experience that allows you
to develop yourself personally and professionally
through developing the community that you live in.
About REAP
REAP is a project that seeks to reduce malnutrition in
developing communities in Metro Manila by promoting
awareness on proper nutritional and agricultural
practices that advocate healthy and sustainable living.
Project Activities
Undergo skills training on urban farming,
nutrition, and cooking to local families and
individuals in developing communities to help
create sustainable and healthy lifestyles.
Participate in feeding programs for
underprivileged public school students
Teach families/individuals in local
communities about urban farming and
gardening
Teach families/individuals in local
communities about nutrition and proper diet
Teach families/individuals in local
communities about cooking and alternative
food sources
Be responsible of tracking the progression of
the growth of the crops and the
understanding of the health and nutrition
lessons.

Vietnam Vietnam 3D

About Vietnam 3D
Vietnam 3D is a project about Vietnamese culture
through cuisine and history to create a beautiful and
unique image of Vietnam in foreigners' eyes and help
Vietnamese Youth fully grasp the concept of global
mindset.

Italy EduCHANGE
Career Development
AIESEC is an international organisation that aims to

About EduCHANGE
EduCHANGE intern will work at Liceo Classico Statale
Marco Minghetti for 6 weeks in the period of January-
February and plan activities focused on culture,
literature, tourism, economics and language teaching.
Project Activities
Intern will teach English, subject will be
general culture conversation and presenting
Italy in English.
Interns will work in pair on this project and
responsible for the lesson under supervision
of the school teacher
Interns will attend AIESEC Local Committee
meetings and other cultural activities
