Travel Ghost

Introduction

Dear Valued Reader,

When we were asked to write this report we said: Sure no problem!. Then we realized that if we gave out Top Secret travel
information a few things could happen:

- We would be shot, a minor detail we know, but we wouldnt like it.
- Others may have their liberty removed.
- And most importantly the loopholes in the system would be shut down.

So what we have tried to tell you about is the paperwork required, the profiles the officials look for and the dos and donts.
Plus a little known method of travel known as The Vineyard Method. This one will annoy a few people high up!

If you use all this information and combine it with other circumstances it should provide you with some answers. After all if we
were to tell you about the hole in the fence between the Finnish/Russian border it would be closed by morning. Or the border
guard in North Korea who is to proud to wear glasses even though he is as blind as a bat, and we couldnt tell you about the
security camera thats been used as a nest by a lovely family of pigeons on the HK/China border or even about the border
guard who reads Playboy all day. Because if we did, they would all be fixed by the time you buy this report.

So off we go..

Section 1 - Passports

The days of passports being used as proof of nationality are long gone. The passport is now used by governments as a tool
to monitor the travel habits of its people.

An example of this monitoring would be the information which is being compiled by customs concerning a persons cross
border traveling or transactions as it is called. This information is then passed on to the taxman, Department of J ustice or
any other Law Enforcement Agency. The information is then used to track down:

- Offshore Bank Accounts and Assets.
- Organised Crime Connections.
- Drug Smuggling Connections.
- Terrorist Groups. Etc

It should also be noted that airlines and travel agents also allow law enforcement types to look into their computers. Big
Deal. So What!

Well at the very least Customs/Law Enforcement will know how well to search you when you arrive back home. But a more
sinister side to this type of monitoring or information gathering is when a spy agency gets involved. Heres an example of the
amount of information that can be gathered by a spy agency.

Customs - they can pass on information concerning luggage contents and weight, passport and visa information, how much
cash you are carrying.

The Airline they can pass on arrival and departure times, passenger manifest, in house phone listings, ticket payment
method (for example paying in cash is a big bell ringer).

The Travel Agent they can pass on accommodation, hotel tours, payment method.

Now add all this together and throw in surveillance cameras at your hotel etc. and there goes your secret meeting! The
above information will give any agency a front seat into your travel or overseas business.

It should be noted that passport checks only take about 30 seconds to complete. This really isnt enough time for the
passport clerk to do any real search on you unless a flag pops up on the computer which draws attention to you in particular.

If you have just received a passport it maybe a good idea to check it out using an ultra-violet light for any warning marks like
an X or the words Apprehend on Sightor even To Be Watched, Assassin, Drug Trafficker etc.

Passports - Improving Your Picture

Lots of people apply for passports every year and never give a second glance as to how their picture looks. The passport
photo normally looks as if youre a Terrorist/Criminal on the run and at the very least it will be a very bad image of yourself.

Nothing draws the attention of customs or police quicker than a passport photo that makes you look so bad. The reason is
99% of the population get their photos taken using the instant photo machines you find in supermarkets or shopping
centers.

OK think about it, you sit down in a seat thats probably the wrong height. Then a flash bulb blinds the hell out of you not
once, but four times and the finished product makes you look like something out of the Alien or Predator movies. And to top it

all off, you were probably wearing the wrong color clothes. Now that you know how to mess up your photo lets show you how
to fix it up a little.

Always wear light color tops. For men, a clean shaven face is better in more civilized countries. A day or two old beard
on the face fits in better when traveling in the Mid-East.

A tan is a must. This colors the face and reduces photo shine or that sick look some people suffer from in photos.
Thats why super models and film stars have tans. Note: There are plenty of fake tan lotions on the market. J ust make sure
its not too dark! There are also several good tanning tablets available, these contain mixed carotenoids and if used over a
two week period the skin will take on a light golden color. Beta Gold is a good brand.

Reducing that killer flash bulb is very important. This can be done by placing a sheet of golden clear plastic wrap over
the flash. A good source for this wrap is the wrapping on the large Lucozade bottles. Note: This method will reduce the
intensity of the flash without harming the photo. Its also possible to give yourself a tanned look by placing the sheet over the
camera lens. Trial and error maybe needed to get it right.

On a final note. Spy agencies never use the type of machines in supermarkets. Its not for security reasons. Its because of
the reasons listed above.

Different Types of Passport

There are many types of passports. For example:

Regular Citizen Passports - issued for travel.

Investment Program Passports - issued to anyone with enough money to invest in a business in that country.

Ethnic/Religious Passports - issued to people with the same Ethnic or Religious background as certain countries. Example
an English Muslim could apply for a passport from an overseas Muslim country or an American with Irish parents could apply
for an Irish passport.

Diplomatic Passports - issued to Diplomats. Some countries sell low level Diplomatic passports like honorary consul
positions. It should also be possible to get a driving license and plates with full executor (written recognition of your position)
with the consul. Important Note: Diplomatic passports like the above last for two years and can normally be renewed. Also
make sure that your passport will be on the list. For example if you live in the UK its the Court of St. J ames List.

It is also possible to earn a diplomatic passport by providing a service to the government of that country. Example - It could
be as simple as being able to speak a required language. But generally speaking it requires a high level skill or contacts.
This route can take from 3-12 months to obtain a diplomatic passport but there are several advantages.

It is possible to obtain a much higher level passport using this route. The passport will always be recognized by countries
youre traveling into. Unlike the ones you just purchase and hope for the best.

A high level document offers you a higher level of protection and many more business opportunities. Its also a hell of a lot
simpler to renew. It can be hard to find a program like this but just for you we did. [See the resources section at the back of
this report.]

Laissez Passer (Alien Passports) - issued to non-citizens who are being protected by a host country.

World Service Authority Passport - issued to refugees, displaced persons, politicians and aid workers. This is a very
unusual document, but has been issued to more than a million people world-wide. It was founded in 1948 by the United
Nations when they passed a Universal Declaration of Human Rights Article 1311.

This declaration or document was to be respected by all member nations as a travel/identity document. It has been issued by
the Red Cross for many years. But the people in charge are the World Service Authority. Theyre the ones who control the
direct issuing of documents. This document is very useful indeed. Because it can be issued to people without proof of
identity. The World Service Authority passport is accepted by the USA and many South American and European countries.

When applying for this document you will be required to fill out an application form and supply a fingerprint and a set of
photos. The authority also issues World Asylum Cards, International Exit Visa, International Resident Permitand
Marriage Certificates, Birth Certificates. For complete details and application form, please send an email message to
wsapassport@dangerousbooks.com

Camouflage Passport - this passport is sometimes used by travelers who wish to enter or leave a Hot Location or War
Zone. As for the passport well its an excellent fake. The actual passport book is genuine, but the country that issued it no
longer exists. So why use it? Well, it can be used in times of war to make you look unimportant to your aggressor and cover
your real identity.

An example of this was a story told to me during the Gulf War. During the war a group of oil workers managed to leave
Kuwait on these passports passing through Iraqi checkpoints without being stopped. The Iraqi let them pass because they
appeared to be from a country which wasnt involved in the war. Note: To back up this passport you will also receive two
other forms of ID. An example of this would be:

- A club membership card.
- A state insurance card.
- A drivers license.

All this adds to the credibility of your passport. For complete details and an application form, please send an email message
to camopassport@dangerousbooks.com

Passports - Where To Get Them

Regular Economic Citizenship Passports can be obtained from a number of legitimate sources. The current sources are
available in The Underground Directory which can be purchased from http://www.dangerousbooks.com

Its also possible to buy passports from overseas embassies. Another method is to use a passport broker. These are
individuals or companies with contacts in overseas passport offices and also possess a good knowledge of the laws required
to obtain a passport. Prices from $1,500 - $1,500,000. A superb report that holds your hand through the process of obtaining
a second passport is available by sending an email message to secondpassportreport@dangerousbooks.com.

Diplomatic Passport - Legally sold by East European/SA embassies and others, can be purchased direct or through
brokers. Expect to pay $30,000-$50,000 dollars upwards. See the sources in The Underground Directory available at
http://www.dangerousbooks.com

Laissez Passer Passport - Issued by host countries. Department of Defense or Foreign Affairs.

World Service Authority Passport Send an email message to wsapassport@dangerousbooks.com. Note: Be warned!
There are a lot of so called brokers claiming to be able to obtain this document - most cannot!

On a final note while were talking about obtaining passports. Sometimes a charity issues passports to its aid workers.
Example: Medical Staff, Admin Staff and Reporting Crews.

Camouflage Passports Full details and an application form can be obtained by sending an email message to
camopassport@dangerousbooks.com

Section 2 - ID Papers

In this section, well cover both travel identity documents and work/lifestyle identity documents. Both types are of equal
importance in what we call the ID Ladder. Well get to this a little later in the section.

Travel Identity Document or National ID Card

These cards are issued in the USA and certain EU member countries as well as many other countries around the world.
Originally these ID cards were issued to control the flow of immigrants into a country. There are other Big Brother type
reasons, but they dont apply to this report which is mainly based on travel.

Few people realize the travel potential of national ID cards, and that they can be used instead of a passport. For example its
possible to cross borders in most EU countries that also issue ID cards without using a passport. All thats required is an
identity card. The main advantages of ID cards is that the whole issuing system is riddled with legal loopholes. This makes it
possible to obtain ID cards from several different countries without breaking any laws.

After you are in possession of these cards, a whole new way of traveling becomes a reality. Some countries which issue ID
cards are Holland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria and Germany to name just a few. Also Ireland may start issuing ID cards in
late J une 1999.

ID Cards, Lifestyle Identity Documents, Work/Leisure IDs

These are a very important document for a number of reasons:

- They can be used to add credibility to passports or ID cards like National Identity Cards.
- They allow a person free movement in a new country. For example, if youre stopped by local or military
security at a city checkpoint it provides as good identity.
- They may provide work opportunities.
- Theyre very easy to obtain.
- They can be used on the ID Ladder for obtaining Higher IDs

Types of Cards Available

Club Membership - (Sports are best).
Work Cards - (Locksmith, not good).
Private Investigator - (Not always useful).
Travel Agent Pass - (Useful at customs).
Press Passes - (Handy for getting out of places).
Religious Missionary - (Very useful).
Aid Worker - (Life saving at times).
Union Card - (Very useful at checkpoints).
Freelance Photographer - (Very, very useful).

A company called P.S.I. can supply advise on obtaining National ID cards, as well as lifestyle or work cards legally obtained
through their consultants. Check out their address and number in the back of this report.

The Identity Ladder - How To Obtain Travel Papers, Work Papers, Etc.

The Identity Ladder was developed to help you obtain identity papers after arriving in a new country. These papers will help
you:

- Avoid the hassles of street checks by security types.
- Get work.
- J oin a workers union.
- Stay for a while in your chosen country.
- Drive a car.
- Even buy a house.

The ladder should be modified to suit your situation.

ID Ladder - Step A

To start on the ladder you must have some form of documentation to build on. The two best types are:

Option 1 - Option 2 - Student ID. Plus 2
Press Credentials or Backup documents e.g. Union Card

Camouflage Package

Note: It can be useful to obtain a Camouflage Passport and an extra documents package to add to either Option 1 or 2.

Your New Country

To add extra support to your documents and entitlements in your new country, you can try obtaining a signed statement of
ownership of your documents from a respected lawyer. Or better still, a commissioner of oaths. This extra backup document
may help as another form of ID. Also ask for referral names for work or accommodation.

ID Ladder - Step B

To move up the ladder youre going to need some local documentation. A temporary job will do nicely.

Option 1

Take your press credentials to some brothers in the local union which is allied to your trade. These people will help point
you in the right direction. They may also be able to get you accommodation.

Option 2

If your using your student card, which in our opinion is probably better than the above option. Go to the local university and
contact the assistant officer of the local student union.

These people can easily help you find work in the area or help you deal with the workers unions, as all unions are allied in
one way or another. Universities also have job and accommodation notice boards - use them if necessary.

As for National ID Cards either of the two unions will be able to help you out as you may be required to have one for work.

Another benefit of Universities is the overseas work programs or summer job work programs. These programs can be a
great cover for moving into your next country and theyre not hard to enroll on.

These programs will sort out work permits (official ID cards) and cross border transport. The university entry method is
extremely safe and very useful if modified to suit your situation. Note: It can take a little time.

OK by now youre in with a union, have accommodation, national ID card, a past history ID. Youre building up references
and contact names with more overseas work or travel transfers.

If you want to move up the ladder to a:

Driving License - use the workers union.
Passport - use the student union. Or even a house loan. It would not be too hard to obtain one using your connections so
far.

The Ladder Set-Up

Start Buy Credentials before you leave home

Example: Press or Student with all backup documents included

As An Extra Precaution - Obtain camouflage passport/driving
Permit as extra backup/support

New Country - Obtain statement of ownership of ID as further reference if required. Note This is optional!

Work Credentials Student Credentials

Work Passes Approach unions of either to help Overseas Work
move up ID ladder Programs

Section 3 - Customs

Different Types And Attitudes

Regular customs officials are found in most Western Countries like the EU group of countries or the USA, Canada, etc.
These officials are well trained and fairly well paid. They are also very well informed about the flow of people that maybe
passing through their borders thanks to International co-operation and computer Databases.

But, and theres nearly always a but. Due to the volume of people traffic that passes through their borders they cant stop
everyone. In fact they will only stop you if you fall into one of three types:

1. Youre a well known criminal and they suspect you may have committed a crime or are likely to in the near future. This
information would have been passed on to them by the police or other overseas customs. It also would not help, if you
just came from a country that is a well known for the supply of arms or drugs etc.
2. You have just stepped off a plane from Bangkok and your sweating buckets and leaving a trail of brown/gray powder
along the floor of Heathrow Airport.
3. You have been unlucky enough to fall foul of a random search or total search of all passengers. This generally happens
only if there has been a terrorist threat.

Military Police - Under paid over worked

Nearly always in a bad mood, painful interrogators, Oh what fun! Some countries have military police working as customs
officials because of a terrorist threat etc. As a rule they dont really hassle Westerners except for maybe some kind of
government tax. It helps if you can speak a phrase in their language but make sure you get it right. Dont wave your camera
around, dictators really dont like cameras for some reason. Some simple advice, get in get out and keep moving. Make clear
eye contact with whomever youre speaking to and smile. Otherwise keep walking and try reading a travel guide or local
paper.

Third World Officials - Under paid, very over worked, badly trained.

What To Do and Expect

- Wear no outward jewelry.
- Be ready to pay a fine or tax.
- Expect long queues.
- Dress casual.

A Handy Hint

Try eating a sweet or some chocolate when youre being stopped. If the person notices this, then make a simple offer of
some. It has been known to work wonders. Offer a cigarette if smoking is allowed.

What Customs Officials Look For

In other words The Profile of people to stop. Firstly there are only profiles of people who smuggle goods, not profiles of
people who smuggle certain types of goods.

Heres what the customs look for. This will surprise you:

Suspects - A married couple mid thirties
Customs - Too afraid of being caught too much to loose House, Kids, Good J obs

Suspects - Well dressed man traveled business class. Tired eyes, crumpled suit, needs a shave and
freshening up.
Customs - The person looks the part and is most likely a genuine Business Traveler who just wants to
get home to the mistress and then the wife and kids. Ha!

Suspect - Old age pensioners, two women or a married couple, or old person on their own.
Customs - People of that age will nearly always buy something like jewelry or perfume etc, so they
sometimes stop them so they can get their countries tax.

Suspect - Young man or woman, very well dressed in a business suit. Flew first class, looks fresh faced
and suit not crumbled.
Customs - Knock, Knock, Knock the person gets pulled over and checked because they dont fit their
description of a business traveler. But that of a smuggler.

Suspect - Young college student or back packer, clean or scruffy makes no real difference.
Customs - Look for only one thing fear in their eyes darting about, sweating and other mannerisms that
may give the person away as being carrier of contraband.

Note: If this person is pulled they will look at your local arrangement. For example the country you flew in from. The class of
seat you paid for. The cost of your hotel accommodation. Your clothes for example that 150 pair of boots youre wearing.
And finally your luggage, is it expensive with lots of travel stickers and other markings?

A Quick Note About Luggage

Have you ever heard of puffing or even pouffing? No its nothing to do with your sexual preferences. Its what customs
officers or the police do to your luggage behind the scenes without your knowledge.

OK so whats pouffing? Well pouffing is when you squeeze a suitcase and smell the air thats expelled. The officer is trying to
detect an over use of fabric softener or other similar scent. Why you may ask! Well fabric softener is what certain drug
smugglers use to hide the smell of narcotics. Coffee is also used.

Note: Pouffing got its name from the sound the air makes as its being expelled from your luggage.

Definite No, Nos:

Besides the obvious ones like having two kilos of coke hanging out of your pockets. There are other less known reasons
that may cause you to be refused entry.

1. Labels on your luggage or badges on your jacket that support a cause or group.

2. Your appearance (long hair, ear rings). The way you dress etc.
3. Passport stamps - In certain countries you can be refused entry because of the entry or exit stamps on your passport.
This may happen for a number of reasons:
A country maybe at war with the country you have exited from.
An ally of the country you are entering maybe at war with the country you have exited from.
Trade Sanctions placed on certain countries by other countries. If your passport has a stamp of the country with the
sanctions against it, you can be refused entry. An example would have been South Africa.
Entry can be refused even if the Stamps/Visas are very old.
The final reason and probably the most common reason for entry refusal is religious or cultural differences, as found in
the Middle East. A perfect example of this is Syria. This country will not except any passport with an Israeli stamp or
any passport with only an exit stamp from either Egypt or J ordan. This implies that entry was made via Israel.

Section 4 Borders & Checkpoints

This section covers the ease or difficulty with which certain borders can be crossed. Lets take the simplest of borders.

USA - Canada Border: At 4000 miles long excluding Alaska, its a very simple border to cross. One of the most isolated
parts of this border is the far North West between Maine in the USA and Quebec in Canada. This part of the border can be
very easily crossed on foot.

USA - Mexico Border: The most traversed border on earth with nearly 500 million crossings every year. Try crossing this
border into America without going through the proper channels and you will be caught by US border police.

Although the USA-Mexico Border is very secure, you must remember it is nearly 2000 miles long. A rumor which has been
doing the rounds for a while is that theres a group of people smugglers in a well known border town in Mexico, run by a
taxi driver in the city. This group have so far been very successful at what they do. One would think contact would be made
by hailing a cab. Gives a new meaning to have a nice day.

Lets look at a few other countries in Europe:

Portugal: Has the easiest entry/exit in Europe.

Turkey: The Turkish police have a reputation for being easily bribed, especially the border police and customs agents. The
price of a bribe is reasonable compared to Western standards. Most of the people smugglers in Turkey seem to be Kurdish.

Ital y: Very easy asylum. Some corruption!

Finland: Gives very simple access to Russia.

A Note on Barriers

A chain link fence is never to be crossed, as it is always used to protect a sensitive area. Look at another area instead.

Helping Hand

If time is on your side, it is possible to cross any border with the help of some local people from the area. Who? I hear you
say. Well, a good rule of thumb is to look to the minority communities in the border town or area. These people can
sometimes help for a small fee and are often very well organized with a great dislike for law enforcement etc.

Section 5 Unchecked Routes

This section is one of the most important in the whole report. It explains the various methods and routes used to cross from
country to country without using official documentation. Some of these routes are used by smugglers, some by spy or
security agencies.

Lets start in Europe. A method of entry/exit called the Wine Trail is used by several organizations in Europe to great effect.

It is possible to move around Europe using what is known as the Wine Trail. This trail takes advantage of Europes Wine
Vineyards which cross many borders throughout Europe.

One of the most important countries in this trail is Switzerland. In fact Switzerland is the key country.

For example, it is possible to cross into Eastern France either on foot or by car from Switzerland using the vineyards west of
Geneva.

This method of border crossing works on the principle of open plan agriculture. Like vineyards, fruit farms, orchards or open
plan grazing of goats and sheep.

The vineyard method of border crossing can be used using Switzerland as a center point to gain entry or exit from France,
Italy, Austria or Germany, once you have entered these countries.

The same vineyard method can be used to connect with other countries. Another example is a crossing point between South
Eastern Austria to North Eastern Slovenia, traveling through the wine region. Oh and the wine is quite good as well. Ah
sunny days!

There are several crossing points throughout Europe and the former Eastern Europe. To formulate your own routes you will
need a simple toolkit.

The Travel Ghost Toolkit

You will need the following:
An accurate map of Europe or other Continents that shows International Boundary Lines not defined or disputed.
Rivers, Canals etc.
An information sheet attached to the map detailing industry, borders, agriculture, etc.
From the target country an agricultural map of farms, vineyards on the border of your target country. This can be
obtained in the town nearest to the crossing point.
A detailed satellite survey map or atlas can prove to be useful. Also the internet can be used to obtain information on the
agricultural regions including detailed land maps. This would remove one to one contact of obtaining this information in
the town of origin.

The Travel Ghost Action Plan

Now that you have obtained your maps, you will need to find a crossing point. A general rule of thumb is this:
The crossing point is located in the corner point of the country targeted for crossing.
It should have a town as near to the border as possible. The reason for the border town is two fold:
- It will more than likely have a smuggling route already set-up.
- It may contain a minority community who will be willing to supply information on routes timetables, farms etc.
All for a price of course!
Another advantage to a corner point crossing is the boundary line. It can be riddled with undefined borders. Especially if
more than two countries meet at that point.

The next and final key country is Turkey. The reason Turkey is a key country is three fold:
1. It borders several countries.
2. It has land area on two continents, Europe and Asia with entry to the Middle East.
3. Offers ease of internal movement.

The other advantages include well used smuggling routes, willing population, corrupt officials at borders. The Vine Method
can be used in Turkey except there is one change, instead of vineyards look for cotton or tobacco plantations. Another
advantage of using Turkey is that it has several borders, which are very difficult to patrol.

Example: Borders with Georgia, Armenia and the crossing point between Turkey and Greece which is a very well used route
for people smuggling. Its also possible to cross into Syria from Turkey, if the crossing is made on the Western ridge of
Northern Syria. This can also be made by boat.

The next type of crossings were going to deal with is un-patrolled areas and open borders. Rather than go into too much
detail, the countries will be listed with extra information if available.

Israel Jordan Crossing: Arid Land Crossing. Risky.
Lithuania Latvia Estonia: These former soviet Baltic republics have two things in common:
1. Old co-op type farms with interconnecting roads crossing over into each other.
2. Each country has a large forested border which inter laps at least two of the countries.
3. They have peat areas with interconnecting road access.
Canada via Sea: Enter by Newfoundland or Quebec. This entry is normally made by cargo ship or fishing factory ship.
Canada to USA: This border is not a real border. Entry can be made nearly anywhere.

Yemen: It is possible to cross into Yemen from Saudi Arabia without much difficulty as the border is very undefined in some
parts. Yemen also offers easy entry across the Red Sea into Africa. Yemen can also be used as a staging point to the Indian
Ocean.

All the stans regions offer unchecked routes
Kazakhstan
Uzbekistan
Turkmenistan
Etc. find another route its bloody cold out there!

Pakistan: It is possible to enter China along the Silk Road, totally unchecked. Your problems begin when you get inside
China.

Pakistan-Afghanistan: Entry can be made through the Khyber pass area. Guides are available in the town of Darra in the
North West Frontier of Pakistan. Warning: These guides are not official and may shoot you.

India-Bangladesh-Burma: Half of this route is a well used insurgent route.

Iran Afghanistan: A drug route for heroin, entry is made on the intersection of Iran, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.

Odessa Port in the Ukraine: Offers no questions asked ship travel to anywhere, also entry to the Ukraine as well.

Europe Route to Canada: This can be achieved by traveling by ship from Germany to Denmark to Norway or Sweden, then
by ship to Iceland over to Greenland and down into Newfoundland or Quebec. Hell of a trip!

Europe Portugal: Easiest country to enter in Europe has to be Portugal. It is possible to enter Portugal, cross into Spain
using the vineyard method, then across to the Straits of Gibraltar, then by boat into Morocco without ever even being looked
at.

Albania-Ital y: This crossing can be made by speedboat at night from the Albanian part of Durres. This route is regularly
used by people smugglers.

Finland: It is possible to cross into Russia using a forested area in Northern Finland. This area is used by Reindeer farmers.
It is also possible to cross into Norway or Sweden at the intersection of the three countries using any of the unapproved
roads along the border.

EUROPE ROADMAP PLAN
Starting point is Switzerland

Section 6 Medical Precautions

An unfortunate circumstance of traveling across unchecked routes is the lack of medical services in some of these areas. If
you cannot find prescription drugs then you may need to use an alternative like herbal medicine. These medicines are often
widely available on sale for a fraction of the cost of regular drugs. Another advantage of using herbal medicines is they are
seldom targeted by counterfeits.

The Herbal Medic

In this section we will cover the various plant extracts that can be used to treat or prevent medical problems. Note: The
author is not a qualified medical herbalist, but has a large volume of knowledge of herbal medicine used by primitive peoples
around the world and is sharing his experience with the reader. All of the extracts listed have been or are under investigation
by Western Medical Universities etc. The action of these herbs and spices on the human body are based on their active
chemical ingredients. Not superstition!

The first aid kit is one I personally use and I believe it is a good all round kit. This kit has saved me from serious harm on at
least one occasion.

Tea Tree Oil: Melaleuca Alternifolia.

Uses: Powerful antiseptic, bactericide, antiviral. Five times more powerful than phenol based antiseptics. Can be used to
clean wounds, skin bites, lice, thrush, remove embedded dirt, mouthwash, shampoo.

To Use: Buy the essential oil and dilute with warm water. Also makes a good insect repellent mixed with Bryl Cream.

Echinacea: Echinacea Pallida (Cone Flower) (Black Sampson)

Uses: Infection =streptococcal and staphylococcal. Ulcer, skin disorders, systemic thrush, STD, tonsillitis, appendicitis,
prevents gangrene, complete protection against listeria, works well against influenza virus. Echinacea raises white blood cell
count and increases the bodys power to fight back. It also has an interferon effect. Echinacea has been given in large doses
in cases of snake bite to fight the effect of the poison.

To Use: Follow instructions on the packet. Personally I find the liquid extract the best.

Marigold: Calendula Officinalis. Sold as Calendula.

Uses: Excellent for healing injuries or wounds anti-inflammatory, skin allergies from food, anti-histamine. Strong anti
bacterial. Effective against staphylococcus/streptoccus nosebleeds, mouth rinse after tooth extraction, stings, thrush and
STDs.

Doctor, Doctor

If you have entered a country illegally and you have suffered an injury or have fallen sick and require medical attention
Where do you go?

If youre near a large shipping port, you could try to make contact with the ships doctor of any foreign ship. Third world ships
are generally best, so to are the former Eastern Bloc Ships. All are willing to help for a fee and they will also keep their mouth
shut.

Another alternative would be to use Religious orders or the immigrant community.

Section 7 - Networks

There are three types of networks:

Professional Volunteer Groups

These groups make up the underground railroad. These groups are made up of station masters, engineers and conductors.
They offer people a second chance with no questions asked. They supply shelter, new ID and transport across borders if
required. This group offer permanent solutions to people with serious problems. Youre not one of those people so dont
contact this group.

Minority Groups

This type of group can be very useful to the Travel Ghost. They can almost always be found in border towns of countries that
are richer than the surrounding countries. There is always somebody in this group who will be able to aid you in your travel
plans. They can supply you with a route or guide you across, provide shelter, and sometimes supply IDs or travel
documents. All this can be supplied for a fee. Most of the people that can supply this service are involved in smuggling of
some sort and will know the routes off by heart.

Organized Smuggling Groups

This alternative is the most dangerous of the three. Most of these groups are Mafia linked and very ruthless. They are very
good at what they do and can be involved in two types of smuggling - either people or drugs. The price of being transported
from Point A to Point B can be around 250-2000 dollars. One major disadvantage with using crime groups is they have a
nasty habit of taking your money and killing you. Which can be very inconvenient!

The biggest groups are:

- Chinese Traids
- Russian Mafia
- Turkish Mafia & Albanian Mafia
- Italian Mafia

Section 8 - Transport

Its really up to you to look in to it yourself.

Passenger Carrying Freighters

These ships offer an excellent way of circumventing the usual checkpoints of normal travel. These ships offer very good
accommodation at a reasonably low price and cover a vast amount of routes not covered by normal transport. You can
obtain information on these ships by checking with any local shipping broker at the port. Also the internet can provide some
information. This is a very useful means of transport.

Section 9 - Clothing

This is the last section and a very small one at that. What you wear while traveling, can mean the difference between
crossing a border, having a free meal or blending in with the population.

There is a lot we could write about concerning how to dress etc. But most of its just common sense. Try the following some
simple rules:

- Look at what the population is wearing, better still find out before you get there.
- Take into account the weather, terrain, and your sleeping arrangements
- Allow every item of clothing to be multi-purpose as well as being easy to clean.

The Ghost Coat

Its been named after a very unusual clothing kit that consists of 3 items which are:

- Baseball Cap.
- Clipboard and pen (some dockets may help).
- A Delivery Mans/ Warehouse Coat any color except black or white.

If you were to wear this kit you could:

- Walk into an early morning food market (un-noticed), pick up some food and leave.
- Walk around the back of a restaurant or hotel unchallenged.
- Associate yourself with a truck at a border checkpoint.
- Walk around into and off a vineyard completely unchallenged.
