Billing Block: There is no billing block on this

film poster which is probably because it is a

film that premiered on TV as opposed to at
the cinema.
Release Date: The premier date is pictured
at the bottom of the poster. It is isolated
from the rest of the poster by a thick orange
bar which makes it stand out and attract
attention.
Film Title: A simple font has
been used for the title which
is similar to the font used by a
lot of websites and
computers. The two Ls have
been made into forward
slashes similar to the start of
a web address (http://). A
small yet effective feature
that ties in with the poster
and films main theme of
bullying via the internet.
Actors Names: The actors names are
featured clearly at the top of the
poster however they are not its main
focus. Given that neither actor is
particularly famous the poster
cannot employ star marketing to pull
in their audience. The main focus is
instead centred on hints at the films
main themes.
Makers: The credit at the top and
bottom of the poster to the abc
family tells the audience quite firmly
that this film has been made by a
well know media company. The
companys fame and loyal following
is used to draw in a larger audience
as opposed to the actors celebrity.
Colour Palette: The cool
calm colours of the poster
convey the artificial nature
of the bullying, as if the
character was stuck and
isolated in an artificial,
virtual world. The
protagonists clothing
contrasts with the
background and makes her
stand out from the
background.
Main Image: The main image conveys the theme that the pictured character feels
isolated and alone. Her main focus is her laptop which cements that the film will
centre on this girl being bullied via the internet. Her body language connotes that
she is nervous and afraid as she is hunched up. The background does not distract
the viewers attention from the main character. The subtle words hidden in the
floor give the viewer an idea about the abuse this girl has faced.

Tagline: Words can hurt. The font
used for the tagline is again very
technological and plain. The
typeface used by many websites and
computer that continues the theme
of cyberbullying. The colour choice is
also significant as these are the only
black words on the screen. They
contrast with the rest of the poster
and stand out. The colour also
conveys that this is the real darker
issue in the film. The tagline is used
to continue to convey to the view
the main themes of the film;
hopefully drawing in an audience
who may be interested in the
subject matter.
