Class Activities:

• Each student will present papers and lead seminars. His or her responsibilities are to present
summaries of papers and to be in charge of the class discussion.
• Students are required to thoroughly read all assigned papers and participate in the class discus-
sion.

Performance Evaluation Criteria:

• Synopsis and presentation of paper from Readings List: 25%. Each student is expected to
present one paper from Dr. Ryu’s list and one paper from Dr. Bardhan’s list.
• Essay (preliminary research model/framework based on one of course topics): 25%
• Research Paper (should be an extension of Essay): 50% (due during Finals week)
