We do want to express cur thanks to all those people who were so wonderful and thought of us and Marge, Evelyn and Susie at this time of grief. We do praise the Lord for this man'.s s'ovk and for his faith in Him. . Do keep praying for Evelyn and Susie that they may be strengthened and made strong through the loss of this loved one. It was back to school in January. ''vbruary we were kept busy since we were getting ready for the big event of the Colegio Biblico school year. Juring the week prior to the convention. Bill traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend a seminar on develcptient. The infon.'ation which was gained during the seminar will be of great use to F.ill in .'".Ls duties as the Director of Publicity at Colegio Biblico. We must get back, to ta.Jking about the Bilingual Convention. We wish more of you could have come and fcllowshipped '-'ith us. We had about 5 to 6 hundred in attendance. Tkxs was lower than past years, since the Mexican government would not give the custoniacy three cay pass to those Mexicans without a passport. Spiritually, it was one of our best conventions. We co want to invite you to our ^xt_B_i.rlingual Convention. It will be held on February 24, 25 and 26th..1576. .Caster w-as our next high.lighi. Bill had the priviledge to go to Culican, Mexico with a team of 6 students and present several dramas. Culican is located on the west coast of the r.a.inland of Mexico. The student team did a great job and Bill learned more Spanish and able to have a week of fellowship with the Mexican people. Billy and I .ad the priviledge to hold a revival with Brother Francisco Villa in Crista-i. City, Te>:as. It was a wonderful x-jeek of visiting and work. This revival marked the beginniig for a Spanish-speaking church in Crystal City. We did have two souls come to Christ during the meeting. My mom and my sisters have started helping in this church too. Pray that the Lord will use them in His work. Apiil was the month for our hoir tours. All four choirs started out on April the 11th and traveled as far as X.ievo Laredo, Mexico. Tiiere we had a service that night. We then went on to .Monterrey for a Saturday night performance then we had a perfonr;ance Sunday Tnorring in Monterrey also. Sunday afternoon we traveled to Saltillo, Mexico and held a concert. Monday morning all the choirs with the exception of the girls choir we:ir back to Eagle Pass. Bill, Billy, 9 choir girls and I went on to Estancias de Animas, Zacatecas for a week of revival. It was the first time .that the gir.s choir had oeen away for a week of tour and they really enjoyed it. s. ancias de Animas is a little village way do\-m south. Many of our students come from this area, they were happy to be able to take a team to their homes. It is a poor village, but, J want to say the people were so wonderful to us that everything else was over looked. VJe had 17 prospects for Bible college and 1 soul won for Christ. X do want to say thank you to the Ron Kautz family of Lyman, Nebraska for their gift of the accordion which came in very handy in the villages we visited in Zacatecas. It t>?as also used in the revival in Kay! Oh boy! Exams, c,-'certs which goes into closing the -f ool vear. those already mentioned. One vas Crystal City, Texas. Wewere aw^ from Eagle Pass from May the 29th until August the 8th. This was a considerable amount of time to be on the road, but this is what the Lord had in mind for our sununer. Our first stop for the summer was Scottsbluff, Nebraska, where we left Billyand his Grandmother together for a week. Our first ei^agement for the summer was a week of VBSin Cozad, Nebraska. During twoof the weeks whichwere open duringthe summer. Bill workedat Midwest Farm Service, Inc.,Gering, Nebraska. Thiswas thefirm withwhich Bill worked during the time he was going to college. The additioiial income was very much appredated. The summer tumed out to be one of the richest blessingsfor us. The Lord had it all plaimed out for us even though we origionally did not have all of Hisplan in mind. The first blesang was beingable to fill out the entire summer with camps, VBS's and diurch programs. Another great blessing waswhen Billreceived a newprinting pressto be usedat Colegio Biblico. Brother Peary Rader of Alliance, Nebraska gifted the Collegewith a large rn ' printing press. Boy you should have seen Bill's face. It was just r like someonehad given hima million dollars. What a joy it is to have such wonderful Christian fellowworkers! We do thank Mr. and ^ - -= Mrs. Rader for this gift and may God richly bless them because of 5 aUj this gift. Another blessingcame when friends of ours from Scottsbluff, Brent and Carol Adamson, ^reed to ddiver the printing press to , Eagle Pass. That was a great lift off our shoulders. TheMexican National YouthConvention was hdd in Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico on Aug. 12-14th. Althoughthis wasonty 80 miles fromEagle Passwe decided not to attend because of the amount of time we had available in Eagle Pass to get things ready prior to the boomingof school. The attendance at the convention was high and it started outtobe agreat time offellowdiip and inspiration. It ended intr^edyhowever, in that during apicnic on^e.last day ofthe convention. Please pray for his family in thaf oi^Tus mother was Christian andthiscould cause the family some problems. OnAi^st the15th, Mark Northrup got married! Yes, youread right! Mark got married. We sawhimin Eagle Pass at thefirst of September and heseems to beavery happy married man. Pray forthisyoung married Christian couple. School hasstartedand we arenowin the full swing of things here. Theattendance islowfor this school year. We askall ofyou to pray thattheattendance will show an increase during the second semister. This year the students had alot of problems in gettii^ their paperworkrequired for leaving Mexico and entering the US. We arenow working on thehouse on campus which we will bemoving into soon. This project has been taking much of Bill*s time. We hope to be init by theend ofSeptember orthemiddle ofOctober. The school ispaying approximately $300 inflxing upthishouse andwe will have to payfor anyotherexpenses which may come upabove that amount. The students ofCol^o Biblico are also helping ontheproject and thishelps out a lot. We will have a considerable amount of expense howevCT, as the house was in poor condition. Brent and Carol can attest to that statement. We areanxiously waiting for our next addition to the family, due November the 18th. We arehoping to bein the house on campus as soonas possible because of the closeness of this event. Prayfor us in this matter andespecially for me as I am preparing for the move as well as our next child. Because of additional expenses which we will have here in making tfie move andalso in the baby, some additional support would begraceously accepted. Last year wewere about $3,000short of our allowed salary at Colegio BibUco. This would be a good time to pick up some of that deficit. Thank youallwho remembered mybirthday inJuly. I sure appreciated the cards and just being remembered. Billy also hada birthday on September 2nd. He really had been excited aboutit. All summer long hehad been makii^ a list of allhis wants. Finally wedecided just for us threeto have a birthday cakeandwedidget hima small swimming pool, which had been onthe topofhis list. He seems just sohappy with this much and nopinata party. I think the other kids were disappointed, but Billy was very happy. We ask all of you to keep us in your pray^s and think of us oftoi. Our baby has arrived and we are so grateful that everything has been going pretty good for us. I'm still laid up after feeling pretty good ail week and then suddenly on Monday I got sick with cramps. We thank God that f am feeling pretty good today again. My mother has been staying with us since we had the baby. We are so thankful for your prayers, thoughts and support as we have awaited our babys' arrival. She looks just like Billy did when he was born. She has real dark hair and blue eyes. She is such a cute, chubby little thing. During the month of October, the Northeast Christian Church in San Antonio, gave me a shower for the baby. This was the first shower which I had attended which allowed men in on die hjn. Several of the men from the congregation attended along v\nth Bill. One of the highlights of the evening was a diaper changing contest among the men present. Believe it or not. Bill won the contest. It makes me believe that the competition was rigged II Well, back to other things. We finally moved into our house on campus. We had been praying that the baby would come after we got moved in and before Bill started traveling in representation for the college. That is just what had happened. Bill had to borrow some money from the bank in order to get the house fixed up. But, we feel that this was better than paying our own rent for an indefinate period of time. If we had not moved on campus, the college would have quit paying the rent for us at the other house. Therefore, we invested the equavelant of one years' rent on the campus house. If we remain here longer than one year (There seems to be little doubt about thisll) we will have a pretty good return on our investment. We have moved into the house on campus. Presentlyhe is trying to get ready for the National Missionary Convention. He Is preparing an entirely new display for the convention and Lord willing, he will leave here onSaturday evening, the 22nd of November. He has several speaking dates arranged to and from the convention which will be held In Saint Louisduringthe Thanksgiving break. Please pray for himas he Ison the road and representing Colegio BIblico. BIN has started making color pictures for the college and .he has been so excited about the results. Some of his work will be used on the display presentation which he istaking to Saint Louis. When Bill returns to Eagle Pass on December I, he will once again be very busy is preparingthe Calendarfor publication. This year, the calendar will be mailedout to only those who have contributed to Colegio BIblico during the past year. This will cut down the number which will have to be made down from about 10,000to about 3,000. There will be about 1,500 extra and we may use some of these to mall out to our own mailing list. If so, don't expect your copy until after the first of theyear. College life has been going real good. Thestudents areall getting ready to go home for thanksgiving.
