The rates for labour in day works shall be applied to the hours worked and shall include for the cost of labour, overheads, profit, all levies, bonuses, leave pay, including full supervision and the use of all tools.

Time sheets specifying the time spent daily upon the work (with the names of the workmen) and the materials employed in day works, shall be delivered for signing to the Engineer or his site representative daily, failing which the Employer shall have no liability in respect thereof.
Labour rates for standing time, when ordered by the Engineer, shall be 50% of the all-inclusive rates above. The Contractor is to notify the Engineer prior to any standing time incurred to enable the Engineer to utilise the labour on other tasks. The Contractor shall not be entitled to payment for any standing time prior to notifying the Engineer that the Contractor has been delayed.
This schedule shall detail any foreign currency requirements and shall give amounts and exchange rates used in making up the tender price as well as stating the activities or items to which the foreign currency portion of the tender applies.

The foreign currency scheduled above will be paid to Contractor in South African Rand, Zambian Kwacha or United States Dollars.
The Contractor shall take out forward cover within 14 (fourteen) days from the Commencement Date.
Any variation in the rate of exchange between Base Date and date on which forward cover is taken out shall be for the Employer's cost or benefit. Proof of forward cover shall be submitted to the Engineer within 21 (twenty one) days from date of award of the Contract.
All tenderers shall complete the information required on the schedule below. Failure to do so shall invalidate the tender.
