Redevelopment, Kingsway, Newport (Friars Walk).
The above application (11/1317) was accompanied
by an Environmental Statement. The conditions now
under consideration form subsequent consents under
the EIA Regulations. However, it is not considered
that the issues relating to the discharge of condition
applications raise new environmental considerations
and therefore a new or updated Environmental
Statement has not been submitted.
Copies of the Environmental Statement relating to
planning permission 11/1317, plans and documents
relating to the application and information relating to
discharge of condition applications can be viewed at
www.newport.gov.uk/planningonline or by visiting the
Information Station, Old Station Buildings, Queensway,
Newport at all reasonable hours for a period of 21 days
from the date of receipt of the discharge of condition
applications.
Copies of theEnvironmental Statement that accompanied
the original planning permission can also be obtained
from G.L. Hearn, 20 Soho Square, London, W1D 3QW,
so long as stocks last, at a charge of 475.00 for hard
copies or free of charge compact discs.
Any person who wishes to comment on the discharge
of condition applications, should do so in writing by
that date to the Head of Regeneration and Regulatory
