GRACE NEWS
PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH
October is Pastor Appreciation Month and the perfect time to commit to pray-
ing for and encouraging our Pastor on a regular basis. Pastor
appreciation month is an excellent time to help demonstrate love,
appreciation and encouragement for our pastor. Also take some time to give a
special thank you to our Pastoral Staff. Baskets will be located in the foyer
through the month of October for cards.
VOTE YES ON 1
Yes On 1 is a community-based outreach to raise awareness of the proposed
pro-life Tennessee constitutional amendment slated for public vote
on November 4, 2014! For more information visit www.yeson1.org
FALL REVIVAL AT GRACE
Dr. Nelson Perdue is a tenured evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene hav-
ing served full-time since 1974. His ministry has taken him to four continents
of the world. He is a faithful exponent of the message of scriptural
holiness. Start praying now for October 15-19 as we seek a spirit of renewal!
FRIEND DAY
October 26 is our annual Friend Day! Let's start inviting and praying now!
SANCTUARY SEATING
Our church board has studied, prayed, and voted to replace our current seat-
ing with luxury sanctuary chairs. By doing this, we go from seating 300 people
in our sanctuary to a capacity of 400 people! Prayerfully consider providing a
chair for your entire family, even those who may not yet attend Grace! The
total amount needed for these seats will be $20,000! That means each chair is
$50...pledge sheets are available at the Connections Center for you to make a
commitment to make Grace's sanctuary more attractive and comfortable for
worshiping the Lord! Pledges can be made as a one-time gift, weekly, or
monthly! Contact the church office with any questions.
LADIES OF GRACE
On Thursday, October 30, at 6PM, ladies ages 18+ are invited to Olive
Garden in Hixson for a ladies night out! Stop by the Connections Center for
more information.
