Invitation to take part in the IPSF delegation at the World Health Assembly

MAY 2015

The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of the World Health Organization
(WHO). It is attended by delegations from all WHO Member States and focuses on a specific
health agenda prepared by the Executive Board. The main functions of the World Health
Assembly are to determine the policies of the Organization, appoint the Director-General,
supervise financial policies, and review and approve the proposed program budget. The
Health Assembly is held annually in Geneva, Switzerland.

World Health Assembly will be held from the 18
th
to 26
th
of May 2015. You can find

IPSF is proud to announce that this year we will be including up to 20 members to attend
the World Health Assembly. In order to be selected for this prestigious opportunity, you will
need to send in a CV (curriculum vitae) and fill out the application form

All participants will be notified of their acceptance by the 22

latest if the conditions are met by this date.
NOTE: Financial assistance from IPSF is not available for this meeting. The participants are
responsible for all costs involved. We suggest applicants reserve a room/bed in the Youth
Hostel Geneva at the time of application to ensure that the entire delegation stays close.
Hostel in Geneva are fully booked for the WHA dates very early. Please be advised that IPSF
is not responsible for this booking and this is just a suggestion.
