1. Introduction

The Leica DXF Converter is an application that allows data stored within the Leica
Geo Office application to be exported in DXF format. DXF is an industry standard
format that allows data to be exchanged between most CAD and mapping
packages.
The Leica DXF Converter allows all points, lines, areas and symbols created in
Leica Geo Office (LGO) to be exported to a DXF file. In addition, the converter
permits the following options:
- 2D or 3D export
- Creation of lines as lines or polylines in the DXF file
- Creation of a layer for each code group in the LGO codelist.
- Scaling of symbol and text sizes
- Export of point labels

The Leica DXF converter is used in conjunction with the format file
Frt2Dxf.FRT. Make sure that this file is available before trying to use
the application.
