(.1 !erform thorough inspection prior to any tests and or energi1ing being done.
(.2 !rovide signs and barriers2 where necessary2 for safety.
(.0 !erform voltage chec3s to ensure voltages absence on the system being tested.
(.( 4se electrical test equipment with caution and as per manufacturer instructions.
(.& /a3e sure to remove any temporary 5installed during tests62 wiring or 7umpers
after tests completion.

&.1 The equipment installation is complete and turn$over done.
&.2 8ll mechanical chec3s2 if any2 are complete.
&.0 8ll the reference documents should be at hand. #nstruction manuals2 wiring
diagrams2 protection settings etc.
&.( !ersonnel performing the commissioning are e9pected to perform the attached
tests as minimum2 in addition to any other tests and inspections that their
e9perience2 training might require.
&.& Test team should verify that the equipment can be safely energi1ed as a part of the
whole plant electrical system.

11.1 #nitial conditions
a. Earthing grid erection completed.
b. The earthing grid to be tested is disconnected from the overall grid where test
lin3s are provided.

11.2 Earthing resistance measurement
The >fall of potential? method will be used according to #EEE$)0$1).1.&.
8 current of about (08 will be in7ected in the ground through the earthing
grid and the current rod will be grounded at about 000 meters from the
grounding grid. The voltage rod will be moved from the grid towards the
current probe. -onduct test for both wet and dry conditions for all areas
where test lin3 is provided.
