Sheffield Hallam University invites application for its January 2015 intake

1,000 automatic discount to Indian students applying for all full-time courses

2014: Sheffield Hallam University, one of the UKs largest and most popular
universities, best known for its innovation and excellence in providing quality education in new and
emerging fields, today invites applications for its January 2015 intake. The university is also offering
Indian students a discount of 1,000 for all full time courses while an exclusive bursary of 2250 will
be offered for the MBA course during its January15 intake.
During this intake, Sheffield Hallam will offer admissions to about 60 masters degree courses in the
areas of Tourism, Hospitality and Events, Biosciences and chemistry, Computing, Business and
Management, Education studies and Engineering among others. The university has strong links with
industry and professional organisations, which will help develop students' knowledge along with
excellent workshops and lab facilities.
Speaking about the January 2015 intake and the scholarships offered, Sudha Mary Toppo, regional
co-ordinator for South Asia based at the New Delhi office, Sheffield Hallam University, said,
Postgraduate study can really improve your employment prospects and earning potential. Graduates
from masters courses can earn more than 25% higher salaries than those with a first degree.
'Our mission is to provide courses aimed at both practising professionals and recent graduates who
wish to study for a higher qualification, while gaining relevant experience in these rapidly advancing
areas. The courses offered during the January 2015 intake will focus on a wide range of sectors and
the extensive industry exposure given to the aspirants during their course will provide them with
immense opportunities after they graduate.
Sheffield Hallam, which has recently been ranked as the top university in the north of England in the
