**After auditions have taken place, casting will be announced the week of January 11th.
All who audition will be cast in the show, depending upon your interests and talents, you
will be placed in the appropriate part.
Rehearsal Schedules: (Detailed schedule available at cast first cast
meeting) - Rehearsals will take place Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays,
and Fridays, immediately after school until 6 p.m. Dance rehearsals for
chorus dancers will more that likely take place on Tuesday or Thursday
evenings from the 6 to 9 time frame. During the months of March and
April, some Saturday rehearsals will be scheduled as well. The part you are
chosen for will dictate how often you rehearse. Lead parts will rehearse the most, then
chorus members, then salesman, then townspeople the least. As the show approaches, the
entire company will be required to attend all rehearsals. A detailed rehearsal schedule
will be distributed at the orientation meeting listed below. Schedules and availability will
be considered when the casting is made. A musical of this nature is a collaborative effort
and a HUGE commitment. Please do not take this lightly. You will be required to attend
rehearsals as we strive for excellence. I guarantee you will be blessed and have fun! It is
an honor to be able to participate and perform for the Lord’s glory, so prayerfully
consider the time needed to prepare for this very public presentation before signing up!

***Vocal Rehearsals will take place with Miss Miller in the choir
room and will begin the week of January 18th and continue for 3 weeks.
Drama rehearsals will be mixed in during this time and are scheduled to begin January
21st. A specific to character vocal rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the orientation
meeting along with the drama schedule. Please indicate whether you are going on a
mission trip during January when auditioning. This will not keep you from being cast.

SHADOWING PROGRAM FOR CREW MEMBERS:

Due to the fact that we are performing in a professional venue this year, the Victoria
Theatre is offering a shadowing program for technical students. Professional stage
hands will run the equipment, but have offered to instruct and allow students to
help out in the areas of sound and props. If you are interested in participating,
please inform Mrs. Caldwell. Other helpers are needed in the area of makeup
application. See Mrs. Caldwell if you are interested.

Please prayerfully consider being part of this production. We look forward to

working with you!
