to Impart quality education and train the youth to take up the future challenges
of evolving INDIA. The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Shri.
O.P. Jindal, an eminent industrialist, politician and great philanthropist.
The Institute is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical
University, Bhilai and is recognized by All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
The Institute was established in the year 2008 under the aegis of The Jindal
Education and Welfare Society (JEWS) and is committed to groom the budding
technocrats to create an ideal society. It is promoted by Jindal Steel and Power
Limited, Indias fastest growing STEEL & POWER Company and is an industrial
conglomerate of the US $ 15 billion Jindal Organization.

O. P. Jindal Institute of Technology organized a 1

version of National Level Technical Fest
February 23rd to 25th, 2011.
The Chief Guest: Dr A. K. Somani, Director, Information & Infrastructural Institute,
IOWA State University (USA)
Festival comprised of 8+ events such as Technical Model Exhibition, Technical Paper
Presentations, Innovative Presentations, Flip-Flap, various workshops, lectures and quizzes.
Total of About 1500 participants from various institutions participated in Udbhav 2011.

About Technorollix 12 Trend continues
Technorollix 2012 is the 2
nd
edition of National level Annual Techno-Cult Festival
Spanning from 23-25 February 2012,
Technorollix featured 14+ exciting competitions, high-on-charge events and inspiring
minds and people in the form of Technical Model Exhibition, Technical Paper Presentations,
Robotics Competition, Innovative Presentations, Game zone, various workshops, lectures and
quizzes.
Total of About 2500 participants from over 60 institutions participated in Technorollix.

Technorollix, the annual techno-cultural festival of OP Jindal Institute of
Technology, hosts a galaxy of events aimed at boosting the technological and
cultural skills inherent in todays youth, giving them an unrivalled opportunity to
showcase their thoughts and ideas. Over the last two years, it has been a
platform that has successfully brought students, academicians, and industrial
giants under one roof.

intensity robotics to labyrinthine programming and intricate circuitry; truly testing your
worth as an innovator and an engineer.
Techlabs : Technical Model Presentation
The Techlabs with projects and working models put up by students,
illustrate basic to advance engineering concept in various forms. The
problem statements are given to which a solutions are prepared, the
best exhibitor takes away the prize. Here at Techlabs, creative and
practical approaches to engineering are encouraged right from the
very beginning and we stand testimony to that.

Tech.docx : Technical Paper Presentation
Now its time find solution to some high on charge industrial problems. Get a
real life problem, do some goggling over Google, go through libraries and
present your research and innovations to over come the problems.


Warfare: Bots equipped with the fiercest weaponry, contend with each other. Only the
fearless fighting machine survives. A GAME OF SURVIVAL

Burnout: the race between tiny model of dirt cars, capable of running over mud track at
furriest speed. The fastest wins.

Its the battle of artificial intelligence. Manually controlled,
wired/ wireless robots steal the lime light as each tries to

Coming up with engineering solutions to the issues that burden society by inspiring the
creative potential and innovative power of the generation. This venture from Technorollix
13, attempts to shift the focus away from a purely technology centric festival to one that

Mente
A month long online game for those in endowed with the supreme ability
of deduction and sleuthing. Includes several events lie decrypt, puzzles
solving, Sudoku, etc.
X-Zone: Ultimate gaming arena
Doesnt matter which game is in action, its mysticism, the cluster of expert players adding
the charm and inherited spirit of sporting in you, makes you stand still, and hold your
breathe in awe. We present to you some of the fantastic gaming events that will light up
your faces and automatically turn on your mind to have great fun and competition

Technorollix has to its credit the performance by the famous Gharana-
world fusion band as part of Technorollix 12 night. The concert was
electric, drawing large audiences, and giving fans and evening to die for.
Apart the cultural performances by college students was equally riveting
and the carnival: a fun-n-food fare, put simply, was rather hypnotic. Thus
always the evenings at Technorollix have proved to be fantastic and mob
creator. A centre of just FUN.
