Bayah : Aisyah at school, mom. Have a seat mom.
Nanny : Hurmm.. sofa, curtain, dining table, there are still unchanged since you are

Bayah : Mom, please stop it, will you? I already have Aisyah and nothing can be change

Bayah : He is outstation, mom.
Nanny : Work! Work! Work! Hey Bayah, I want to tell you something. You know Mak Cik
Leha, my friend?

Nanny : She bought a necklace, so sweet Bayah
Bayah : So?
Nanny : That is why I came here, I want to ask you RM500 this month.
Bayah : Mom, I dont have that amount of money to give to you. My family needs money
too, especially Aisyah.
Nanny : I dont care, by hook or by crook, I want that money.
Bayah : I try my best to get the money
Nanny : Huh, its so hot here without aircond. Im leaving right now. Remember, RM500
Bayah : Okey, mom

Hairul : No more weekend again for me. Its always about work! But the salary is still the
same, no bonus, no allowance. Instead, I need to advance my own money for
the petrol, maintenance and even my own meal.
Hairul : whats wrong with the car? Ahh what else do you want me to spent on you
car?
Aliah : Is that my companys car? Why is it there? That must be a tanker driver, is it so
annoying! Should I approach him?
Aliah : Hello, are you a new driver? I never see you before either at office or estates?
Hairul : Yeah, Hello.. urmm.. no I have worked for several years already. Are you Miss
Aliah? Our administrative manager?
Aliah : What? You know me? I am not that famous. Is there any problem? Why are you
stuck here?
Hairul : Miss, my car is broke down again. Its always like this! Im stressed facing the
same problems every time I work. I have no time to spend with my family, no
extra money to support my family. No allowance provide to the driver whenever
we delivering palm oil. Im sorry miss, I shouldnt tell you about all of this things.
I did not mean to plead for your sympathy.
Aliah : No, its okey. I dont mind to hear that. Why dont you think of another way to
to earn extra money?
Hairul : What do you mean, miss?
Aliah : Later we will talk about that. This is my card, dont forget to call me, okey.
Hairul : Miss, miss.. But what about my car?

Scene 3
Zai : Assalamualaikum
Bayah : Waalaikumussalam
Zai : Hi Bayah. Is Hairul at home?
Bayah : Yes he is. Wait a second. Abang, your friend is here.

Secene 4
Hairul : Zai, what is this? What is going on actually?
Zai : It is the way to earn extra money. Do you think our salary is sufficient to support my
son at university now? This is your potion for tonight. If you want more, we should do
this together.
Hairul : No, no. Thank you. Its okay. I dont want your money.
Zai : Youre new here. How do you know this better than me? You must think smart.
Hairul : Usually how much do you get?
Zai : Hahahaa.. You must try first, and then you will know.

Scene 5
Datuk : Yes, Rita. What is the matter? Have a seat.
Rita : Sorry to interrupt. I just received a phone call from Oilene Refineries SB complaining
about the poor quality of our crude palm oil delivered to them.
Datuk : What???
Rita : Calm down Datuk! I have reviewed our financial statement, it shows that our profit has
significantly dropped as compared to last financial year.
Datuk : Okay then. Could you help me arrange meeting. I have several issues to be discussed
during the meeting regarding these complaints.
Rita : Okay Datuk. No worries. I will handle that. If there is any other matter, I will inform
you.
Datuk : Thanks a lot Rita. You may go

Scene 6
Datuk : Good evening everyone. Thank you for coming. Without any further, let us start with
the main reason for this urgent meeting. Firstly, one of our major clients has called me
complaining about the quality of our CPO. They said they have problems when
processing the CPO because there is contamination with either water or sludge. They
also complain that they receive our CPO later than they expected.
Sazlyn : Yes, I hear about that. They are threatening us that they would not renew our contract
with us if we do not compensate their losses.
Datuk : Okay everyone, can all of you expose the real problem incurring in our company.
Please do not hide anything from me for the sake of our company.
Anis : Excuse me Datuk! Actually we are facing a lot of problems. First of all, we are short of
drivers. Most of current drivers are working almost every day. And of course they will be
tired after days on road delivering the oil. I also realize that our wages given to the
drivers is not enough. This made them feel dissatisfied and lead to a strike.
Datuk : Oh this is serious matter! Rita, please pass to me the financial report. Aliah, supposed
to be you are in charge of our companys vehicle. Can you explain why our maintenance
cost is high? I think we are already spent money for regular service of all the tankers.
Aliah : Sorry Datuk, I didnt realize that.
Datuk : You owed me an explanation, Aliah! Okay guys. Is there any other issue arose?
Azhani : Datuk, I have something important to tell you about the palm oil piracy. Actually, the
theft of CPO happen because of production cost and price of CPO in our country is lower
than other country. That is why our people keep stealing our palm oil.
Datuk : Oh, I did not realize that! How this may happen?
Azhani : Surprisingly they create a company that never exist and sent invoice to our estate
asking about 2000 metric tons of CPO. Without any skeptical, the unauthorized people
approve their request and give 2000 metric tons at government subsidy price. Then,
they will sell the CPO in 10 states in Malaysia and the balance will be selling at Thailand
& Singapore. This is lead to shortage of palm oil in Malaysia.
Datuk : We should do something about this before it is too late!

Scene 7
Senah : Datuk Najeed right?
Datuk : Yes, please have a seat. Do you want to order something to eat?
Senah : No, thank you. Okay Datuk, without wasting time. What I can do to help you?
Datuk : Actually I want you to investigate about something. Can you do that?
Senah : Of course Datuk. But may I know what do you want me to investigate about?
Datuk : I want you to investigate about palm oil piracy in my company. I think there are
insiders in this matter.
Senah : Do not worry Datuk. Let me handle this matter. I will not disappoint you. If there is
anything else, I will call you. I have to go now.
Datuk : Okay. Thank you.

Scene 8
Senah : Hi Datuk Najeed, it is me. I think my mission is accomplished. Before I give you these
evidences, please make sure you have deposited my payment. Okay see you later!
Datuk : Come in. Zai! Zai! Zai! Do not act innocent Zai! I know what you have done behind my
back!
Zai : Datuk, what are you talking about?
Datuk : What is this? Tell me know?
Zai : Datuk I can explain this.
Datuk : I do not need your explanation. I just need you to vacate this office. Right now! You are
fired! Security..
Zai : But Datuk, I have family to fed. Please give me a second chance. Im begging you..
Datuk : No! No! No! Security!

Scene 9
Datuk : Good morning everyone. Thanks for spending time here. I believe that everyone has
some possible solution regarding the issues faced by our company right now. Before
that, for your information, one of our drivers, Zai was just fired. Back to our agenda, is
there any suggestion to overcome our problems?
Anis : Datuk, I suggest we must fix the companys policies especially the wages package to
the drivers. Currently our company does not provide any bonus to employees which
may lead to dissatisfaction.
Rita : Yes. I agree with that. The dissatisfaction may lead to pressure and they try to find
another way to increase their income in the wrong way just what had happen to Zai.
Sazlyn : Yes. If our company provides high bonus, allowance and personal cash to our drivers
while delivering the oil, Im sure they will perform better and will not involve in illegal
activities.
Datuk : Sounds great. But isnt it will increase our wages expenses?
Najiah : Yes. It is better to spend more money on the remuneration in order to motivate our
drivers instead of our company have to bare high cost of remuneration due to palm oil
piracy.
Senah : Datuk, I want to add some more. I think we should hire another personnel to assist
Aliah in managing the logistic especially maintenance of vehicles. It is better to have
segregation of duties rather than letting Aliah work alone.
Datuk : Alright, I will consider it. Any other suggestion?
Sazlyn : I want to propose that our company use a system called Fleet Management System
(FMS) that can help our company to address the issue of the palm oil piracy. The system
is able to track the route of its drivers. FMS provides innovative technology solutions
that enable company to gain real-time control of distribution processes including
customer deliveries, vehicles and drivers.
Datuk : Wow! I am impressed with that. Can you explain me more?
Sazlyn : If we implement this system, we can trace the exact route taken by the drivers, who is
responsible, time and place taken by them.
Aliah : Isnt it costly? Currently our cost is already extremely high!
Sazlyn : You are correct, Aliah. It might incur some cost, but it can give benefit to our company
in long term.
Aliah : I also want to suggest, that we use a systematic method of maintaining the tankers. It
should ensure each of the tankers do total check-up. As we know, our company have
the constraints since gross profit margin is just around 10% over the years, thus it is
understandable if we are not effort to do in-house maintenance. How about we
out-source maintenance services from the market. A yearly contract with the service
provider will assist PHSB to upkeep our tankers.
Rita : Yes, I agree with that. In scheduling the deliveries routes, we should use computerize
schedule which is more convenient. It helps in organize the delivery routes, driver
allocation & delivery durations. The software that can be use is Transportation
Management System (TMS). It doesnt require expert to use the software. It only
require person who knows how to operate computer & familiar with data entering.
Azhani : Besides that Datuk, I would like to suggest that our company coorporate with Oilene in
implementing balance inventory levels in checking & manage the CPO. Both companies
could review the consignment through the purchase orders, receipt & credit notes,
return notes & delivery notes which are being validated by both companies. By
implementing this method, our company can avoid the possibility of receiving less
amount of CPO than stated in the delivery orders.
Datuk : Okay, you all provide with very brilliant ideas! Lets hear the last idea from any of you?
Anis : The last thing I want to add is the director fees should be maintain to RM400,000.
Since the company performance was depreciating from 23.21% on 2006 to 16.51% in
2008, this should indicate that increasing the director fees is a bad move.
Datuk : Okay! I will take that as our solution. Since I have taken your time for too long, I think
that is the end of our meeting.
