Content standard 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal
situations for a variety of purposes.

(a) extend an invitation
(b) accept an invitation
(c) decline an invitation
Objective By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
1. Extend the invitations properly based on the guidance given by the teacher appropriately.
2. Accept or decline invitations based on the guidance given by the teacher appropriately.
Teaching aid/Material Tic Tac Toe board, puzzle pieces (pictures of Malaysian main celebrations symbols), manila cards as pupils invitation cards.

silently to find the correct match
to their puzzle piece.
Pupils have to
ask/accept/decline the
invitations with their friends
based on guidance from the
teacher before matching the
puzzle pieces together.
