Here is the most recent ROUGH, PRELIMINARY, SUBJECT TO REVISION, version! ; )  Seriously, the drafting cart is a little 
ahead of the commission voting horse.  We appreciate any and all comments.  Janet is chair of the drafting, so go to her 
first for the most direct responsiveness. But, I and the entire commission are open to questions, comments, concerns.  
We want to the get this as “right” as possible.

Good morning Justice Bell,

City Manager Al Coby told me earlier this week that during his attendance at the Commission meeting on
December 10, the statement was made that the 41-page draft that had been circulated a few days earlier was
no longer the document intended by the Commission to be used for public review and comment. I am writing
to ask if there is any draft available that has replaced the one we looked at last week, recognizing that the
work of the Commission is ongoing and the elements of consolidation being reviewed remain fluid at this point.
I have been asked to obtain any such draft that may currently be available and provide it to a member of the
City Council. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give.
