Listening within.... Gifts from above....
Everthing that is good is divine....
Ever s!iritua" gift re#uires undivided attention for the divine
e$!ression of wi""% for this means that the human being must "isten
within in order to hear this de&"aration of wi"". God's wi"" &an on" be
revea"ed to someone who withdraws into his inner "ife( sin&e God's
voi&e is on" !er&e!tib"e in the human being's heart% hen&e( a
!erson has to "isten within if he wants to hear God's voi&e.
)nd thus a !erson must first deta&h himse"f from the wor"d( i.e.( he
must &om!"ete" free his thoughts from earth" interests( he must
estab"ish a bond with the s!iritua" *ingdom through &ons&ious"
fo&ussing within and enter into a si"ent &ommuni&ation with the
s!iritua" beings in a !erfe&t state or with the eterna" Deit +imse"f.
+e has to !resent his s!iritua" adversit to God and a!!ea" for
being guided towards rea"isation(
he has to tr to "ive a&&ording to divine wi""
and have the serious wi"" to be&ome worth of God's voi&e(
then God wi"" a"so "et +is voi&e be heard in the heart of someone
who wants to hear it.
For God re#uires !eo!"e who &"ear" and understandab" &onve to
fe""ow human beings what the voi&e of the heart has im!arted to
them( &onse#uent" +e wi"" a"so a"was be wi""ing to instru&t !eo!"e
a&&ording to the truth.
,herefore( +e a"so e$!e&ts the attention of those who are !re!ared
to !ass on the *now"edge the re&eive.
For this *now"edge is so e$tensive that !eo!"e &an be offered
something new ever da and ever hour. But it must a"so be
a&&urate" &ommuni&ated( and thus the tea&her himse"f must be
*now"edgeab"e and a"was and forever a&&e!t this *now"edge(
and this re#uires &onstant menta" &on&entration( that is( the
re&i!ient must wi""ing" deta&h the sou" from the bod and utter"
hand himse"f over to the wor*ing of s!iritua" for&es.... he must
"isten to what his s!iritua" friends im!art to him and *now that
ever message from the s!iritua" *ingdom is offered to him
a&&ording to God's wi"".... that he therefore re&eives the truth whi&h
he shou"d !ass on in e$a&t" the same wa.
,hus( his own menta" &on&e!ts must not !re&ede the *now"edge he
re&eives but he must stri&t" *ee! to that whi&h is offered to him
from above.
)s soon as the !erson fai"s to "isten to this voi&e in his heart he
&annot be instru&ted either( for God wi"" not manifest +imse"f more
mar*ed" as not to endanger !eo!"e's re"igious "ibert.
+owever( to the "istener +is voi&e sounds so &"ear and !ure that he
&annot misunderstand it( and thus he grows in wisdom be&ause he
is instru&ted b God +imse"f( Who a"so avai"s +imse"f of +is
heaven" messengers in order to im!art the truth through +is
devoted earth" &hi"d to !eo!"e on earth....
But God is at a"" times the Giver of gifts from above( for it is God's
voi&e whi&h &an be audib" !er&eived b a !erson if he attentive"
"istens within.
Everthing that is good is a divine gift.... everthing that urges a
!erson to do good( that tea&hes him to "ove and !oints him into the
dire&tion of God.... )nd these instru&tions are a"was given to a
!erson when his striving a!!"ies to God and the eterna" truth and
when his heart has made itse"f re&e!tive through the wi"" to hear
the voi&e of God and through a God-!"easing wa of "ife....
otherwise the desire for God wi"" not be rooted within the !erson.
But then his thoughts wi"" be inf"uen&ed b God +imse"f and the
s!iritua" beings devoted to God( and these thoughts wi""
!redominant" arise in his heart and need on" be gras!ed b the
!erson's wi"" b means of "istening inwards to the divine gifts he is
offered.
.f the !erson "ives a "ife of "ove these thoughts wi"" ma*e su&h an
inde"ib"e im!ression on him that he wi"" a&&e!t these thoughts
without doubting that it is the divine voi&e( sin&e through "ove he is
a"read so united with God that he *nows +is wi"" and a"was
strives to fu"fi" it....
