To construct a full wave rectifier and show that
Alternating Current is rectified into a direct current.

INTRODUCTION


A f u l l wa v e r e c t i f i e r i s a d e v i c e wh i c h i s u s e d t o
r e c t i f y a l l t h e a l t e r n a t i n g c u r r e n t c o m p o n e n t s
i n a n a l t e r n a t i n g s u p p l y a nd ma k e i t p ur e l y a di r e c t
c u r r e n t . The t wo a l t e r na t i n g h a l ve s of an alternation current are
rectified in a full wave rectifier wh i c h i s a n a d v a n t a g e o v e r a
h a l f wa v e r e c t i f i e r . Mo s t electronic devices cannot withstand very
high voltage or alternating c u r r e n t d u e t o i t s i n t e n s e h i g h
p o w e r .
T h e u s e o f b a t t e r i e s i n al l devi ces i s not pr act i cal
as t hei r r epl acement and dur abi l i t y is a huge problem as the device
has to be dismantled each time for such a replacement. So these rectifiers
are used in most of the electronic devices like TVs, Radios, Chargers, and
Lightings etc
