Premier Prentice mourns passing of Rod Love

Premier Jim Prentice issued the following statement on the passing of Rod
Love:

On behalf of Albertans, I want to express my condolences on the passing of Rod Love.

Rod was an influential political strategist, a passionate Albertan, and a proud Canadian. For the
last few decades, it was impossible to have any interest in politics in this province and not know
who Rod Love was and be aware of the impact he had on policy making and political strategy.

I personally knew Rod to be a devoted and loving husband and father, and his family feels his loss
the hardest. He was enormously proud of them. On behalf of all of my colleagues, my deepest
condolences to his wife Charlene, their children and extended family.
