About the Poll
These results are based on a survey of 494 likely voters in the November 2014 Massachusetts
general election. Select questions were also asked of an oversample of 206 Boston voters. These
questions were asked October 22-25, 2014 as a part of the WBUR Tracking Poll. Live telephone
interviews were conducted via both landline and cell phone using conventional registration based
sampling procedures. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 4.4 percent with a 95
percent level of confidence, and 6.7 percent for the Boston figures. The poll was sponsored by WBUR,
a National Public Radio station in the Boston area.
