IV. Course Requirements: 1. Class attendance and participation policy: (a) Attendance in class is not considered in the computation of grades. There shall only be quizzes at the end of the Cybercrime Law discussion as well as at the end of Intellectual Property Law discussion. Since this is a once a week class schedule, there are only 3 allowed absences. The 4 th absence, if incurred, shall put the student on a dropped status. (b) Participation in oral recitation every meeting which comprises half of the grading system. All the students shall be called to recite every meeting. Once a student is absent and is called on the oral recitation, he is given a grade of 50. Students called to stand for the oral recitation and have no answer or the answer is totally wrong shall also be given a grade of 50. Students

Coverage for oral recitations every meeting are given ahead of time (at least 1 week) to allow ample time for the students to study the coverage. Possible questions are also given ahead of time so that there is no unfair question that shall be asked of them. There is only one question that shall be asked each student. The answer of the student for that question from the professor shall be the basis of the oral recitation grade.
(f) Grading Policy:
Final grade: Final Grade = 50% Daily Oral Recitation 20% Written Midterm Exam 20% Final Exam 10% Quiz (Only 2 quizzes for the entire semester)
