The Children will be adversely affected by their parents.

A study published by London researchers Susan and Fiona found that children raised by a
homosexual parent were much more likely to experiment with homosexual behavior themselves.
Other researches like the one published in the Illinois Law Review finds that children raised in
homosexual households are significantly more likely to be homosexual themselves.

Why is that so? That is because
A childs primary role models are his or her parents.

Bringing a heterosexual child up in a gay household gives them a distorted view of sex and
marriage. They will wrongly perceive it as being acceptable and will deviate from the social
norm.
That is why, traditional families are better for child rearing.

Homosexual parents raise the question of unnatural upbringing.

As it is undeniable that a childs primary role models are his or her parents, the main source of
influence and guidance in a childs life comes his or her parent.

That is why, children do better with mother and father role models

Children benefit from a balance of male and female, differentiated role models. The empirically
verified common wisdom about the importance of a mother and father in a child's development
should give advocates of gay adoption pause. The differences between men and women extend
beyond anatomy, so it is essential for a child to be nurtured by parents of both sexes if a child is
to learn to function in a society made up of both sexes
Same-sex marriage fundamentally undermines this balanced approach to child-rearing, just as a
girl brought up by two men would fail to benefit from a feminine influence, children need a
parent of each gender to model appropriate behavior.
Is it wise to have a social policy that encourages family arrangements that deny children such
essentials?

Furthermore, stability is the key to raising an emotionally and mentally healthy child; unmarried
and homosexual partners simply cannot provide the stability that married heterosexual couples
can give.

Discrimination and prejudice towards children from public.

Imagine the one sitting next to you in class has parent of a same sex. What will you feel? You
will surely feel disgusted and will detest the child.

With this, I will like to bring out my point that homosexuals are still unaccepted by the
population and discrimination against homosexuals is still prevalent.
Prevalent heterosexism and stigmatization might lead to teasing and embarrassment for children
about their parent's sexual orientation or their family constellation and restrict their ability to
form and maintain friendships.
Placing a child in the care of these same sex couples will surely exposes them to this prejudice,
and even subjects them to ridicule or violence. Whatever ideal we might have, the psychological
and physical welfare of the child must come first.
Problem with homosexuals themselves
Catholic Answers, a Catholic religious group, in its 2004 report on gay marriage addressed
parenting by homosexual partners via adoption or artificial insemination. I t pointed to studies
finding higher than average abuse rates among heterosexual stepparent families compared
with families headed by biological parents.
Furthermore, with the alleged greater prevalence of depression, drug use, promiscuity and
suicide and domestic violence among homosexuals, children are unnecessarily affected.
Some studies which suggest that homosexual men are more than 40 times more likely than the
general population to molest. That is why, it is not worth the risk to lay the children in their
hands.
