La famille de chargeurs ALPHA possde toutes les fonctionnalits ncessaires la charge des batteries plomb
ou Cadmium Nickel afin de leur assurer la plus grande
dure de vie. Ils couvrent les tensions continues les plus
courantes de 12Vdc 240Vdc. Leur calibre offre une puissance confortable dutilisation et convient aux systmes
avec longue autonomie.

ALPHA Chargers offer all necessary features to expertly

charge Lead-Acid and Nickel-Cadmium batteries, insuring
them an extended life. They cover the most common DC
voltages between 12Vdc and 240Vdc. Their range allows
comfortable power for the application and is also
suitable for long autonomy systems.

Intended to be integrated in cabinets or in panel-boards,

they constitue along with batteries DC power supplies with
back-up for sensible units in continuous process installations (i.e. PLCs, coils, valves)

A built-in configuration allows operation as a DC power

supply also.

Les chargeurs ALPHA peuvent tre associs au superviseur

Quartz, offrant ainsi lutilisateur une totale libert sur
ses paramtres batterie. La carte dentres-sorties du
superviseur Quartz assure linterface avec les automatismes de surveillance et de protection.

offering to the user a total freedom on battery parameters.

Battery current limitation

Il est fortement conseill de limiter le courant de charge de la batterie

10% de sa capacit en Ah. Les chargeurs ALPHA dispose dune rgulation
de courant indpendante pour la batterie, ce qui permet dajuster le
courant la batterie quelque soit le courant consomm par lutilisation.
Ce rglage se fait par un potentiomtre accessible en face avant.

It is highly recommended to limit the current flowing to the battery

during charge to 10% of the battery capacity in Ah. A built-in separate
current regulation allows ALPHA rectifier to adjust the current to the
battery whatever the current flowing to the load. This adjustment is
accessible through a potentiometer on the front panel.

Output voltage adjustment

Bien que les chargeurs ALPHA soient pr-rgls pour les batteries les plus
courantes, il est toutefois possible dajuster la tension de sortie de +/-5%
grce un potentiomtre accessible en face avant.

Even though ALPHA rectifiers are preset for common batteries, it is

possible to correct output voltage by +/-5% by means of a potentiometer
located on the front panel.

Boost

Pour acclrer la charge des batteries, il peut tre utile dappliquer

une tension plus leve durant quelques heures. Les chargeurs
ALPHA disposent dune fonction Boost qui augmente la tension de
charge de 3,8%. Elle est active en reliant deux bornes dun connecteur.

To speed-up battery charge, it can useful to apply a higher voltage

for several hours. ALPHA rectifiers feature a boost function that rises
the charging voltage by 3,8%. This function is activated by strapping
two connector terminals.

Static stop command

Larrt des chargeurs ALPHA peut tre command par un contact extrieur.
Larrt statique est activ en reliant deux bornes dun connecteur.

ALPHA rectifier can be stopped by a remote contact. This static stop

is activated by strapping two connector terminals.

Voltage and current settings with external potentiometer

Les chargeurs ALPHA peuvent tre pilots sur toute la plage de courant et
de tension au moyen de potentiomtres extrieurs. Les rglages couvrent
la plage de 0 100% du calibre courant nominal, et de 0 125% du calibre
tension nominal.

ALPHA rectifiers voltage or current can be driven, by an external potentiometer. Settings cover the range from 0 to 100% of the nominal
current, and from 0 to 125% of the nominal voltage.
