Olivia Task fulfillment

9
Overall Olivia's text fulfills the requirements of the task fully. Only in respect to indicator 3 and 4 I
would grate Olivia-s performance with a 6- 7 as she does not give an very elaborated reason of why
he should do the workshop for free.
Benjamin 6
In regard to task fulfillment Benjamin's text has various problems, for example he does not stick
consequently to the genre of letter (indicator1) as he has no final greeting, nor date, nor signature at
the end. However Bejamin communicates more or less all main points, and formulates do it for
free part most convincing of all the given texts. Therefore I would give a passing mark.
Hannah 8
Again like Olivia all formal aspects concerning genre are visable. However, there is no argument
for supporting the idea of doing -it for free and also not too many details in support of the message.

Olivia10
Olivia's performance has a very clear overall structure, which shows all signs of effective
paragraphing and a clear thought development throughout the whole text, which is overall very
coherent. Therefore full score.

Benjamin 4
As a consequence of not following the formal aspects of the genre letter the text has an inadequate
structure, in which Benjamin predominately develops the convincing aspect, which is
successfully coherent in itself, but in regard to the overall structure just not enough for a passing
mark.
Hannah 7
A very clear overall structure of the text is given. Also paragraphing is satisfying. However due to
missing linking devices, and a few jumps in the flow of argumentation, the text is overall not very
coherent, but in regard to the clear structure, and the convincing genre specific layout, still a 7

Olivia 8
Olivia's performance shows a satisfying range of lexical and grammatical linguistic means and
fitting formulations. There are some repetitions (workshop), which however do not disturb the
overall fluent style of the text
Benjamin 7
Also Benjamin uses a broad range of different linguistic means (conditionals, unfortunately,
highlight charity), which are however not always used appropriately (i.e harm, pleasured) but are
nevertheless used more or less successfully all over the textHannah 6
Has a satisfying range of linguistic means. However, there are some instances of repetition ( i.e.
workshop, project) and a general reliance on easy grammatical structures (i.e no conditional) and
some instances of inappropriate lexical choices ( to have some fun leave it on you)

Olivia 9
Besides the not always correct use of the conditional and two minor mistakes ( class has, is 60
minutes long) that might show a influence from an other language, the overall accuracy of used
language is good.
Benjamin 7
Benjamin uses the conditional correct throughout the whole text. On the other hand there are 5
instances (ie pleasured, harm ...) where he uses lexical forms incorrectly, sometimes due to
inferences from german, but in regard to the comparably wide linguistic range I would still give a
little bit more than a passing grade.
Hannah 7
There are only 3 clear instances of wrongly used lexical items (i.e. leave it to you ..) However two
times the make it difficult to understand the meaning of the sentence. In regard to the
