SAKS INSTAGRAM PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN.
A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
SPONSOR: Saks & Company, 12 East 49th Street, New York, NY 10017 (the Sponsor).
ELIGIBILITY: The Saks Instagram Promotion (the Promotion) is open to legal residents of the 50
United States or the District of Columbia age 18 or older at time of entry (each collectively referred
to herein as a Player or Players). Employees, directors and officers of the Sponsor, Hudsons
Bay Co., Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF Fifth, Ventura Associates International LLC), and
their respective parent companies, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion
agencies, web suppliers, consultants, and any other individual or company involved in the
creation, production or execution of this Promotion (collectively the Promotion Entities), and
members of their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children and their
spouses) and households of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Void
where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Promotion
governed by U.S. law.
ENTRY PERIOD: Promotion begins at 1 pm Eastern Time (ET) on November 20, 2014 and
ends at 6:30 pm ET on November 20, 2014 (Entry Period). The Entry Period consists of two
(2) Play Periods. Winners from the first Play Period are not eligible to enter the second Play
Period.
HOW TO PLAY: To qualify and play for a chance to win any prize awarded within a given Play
Period, each Player should: 1) visit instagram.com/saks and like an image (instruction will be
posted at instagram.com/saks about fifteen (15) minutes prior to each Play Period on which image
to like; 2) be among the first one hundred (100) Players in line at the Fifth Avenue entrance
nearest to the 50th St. corner at Saks Fifth Avenue New York City flagship store (located at 611
Fifth Avenue, NY, NY) during one (1) of the Play Periods; and 3) show your liked Saks Instagram
image on your phone to the Saks representative to qualify to claim a prize (subject to
verification/availability). If you are one of the first one hundred (100) Players (as determined by the
Sponsors agent) in line for a given Play Period, you will be deemed a Winner and will be able to
claim a prize. If you are not one of the first one hundred (100) Players deemed a Winner you will
not win a prize. The Play Periods are as follows: Play Period #1: Will commence at 1:00 PM ET
on November 20, 2014 and conclude at 2:00 PM ET on November 20, 2014. Play Period #2: Will
commence at 5:30 PM ET on November 20, 2014 and will conclude at 6:30 PM ET on November
20, 2014. One hundred (100) prizes will be awarded per Play Period and each Winner must
claim his/her prize during a given Play Period.
Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your mobile service provider will apply.
Promotions Entities are not responsible for any lost, interrupted or unavailable network,
miscommunications; human or technical errors or difficulties; unauthorized human intervention;
and/or traffic congestion. Players must comply with any security procedures, measures and

instructions imposed by the Sponsor and/or the onsite representative who reserves the right in
their sole discretion to suspend or cancel a Players participation due to any non-compliance with
instructions, security procedure or inappropriate behavior or misconduct. Sponsor is not
responsible for any lateness or for leaving position in line.
PRIZES: One Hundred (100) Gift cards will be awarded per Play Period. Each Winner will
receive a $50.00 Saks Fifth Avenue Gift Card (Gift Card) to be used towards the purchase of
beauty product(s). Approximate retail value (ARV) of each Gift Card: $50.00. Total value of prizes
per Play Period: $5,000.00. Limit: one prize per Winner. Prizes are non-assignable or transferable.
No substitution by any Winner is permitted. Sponsor reserve the right to substitute prize with one of
equal or greater value in case of unavailability. All taxes (including but not limited to federal, state,
local, sales and income tax, if any) are the responsibility of each Winner. Any amount above the
Gift Cards ARV is the sole responsibility of the Winner. Any unused balance on a Gift Card after
November, 20 2014 will be null and void. Each Gift Card is for promotional purposes only, without
money or other value given in exchange. It is non-transferable and not a coupon for discounts or
markdowns. Gift Card may not be returned, redeemed for cash or used as payment or credit
toward any credit card accounts. Purchases made with this Gift Card are not eligible for Saks Gift
Card promotions or SaksFirst points. Gift Cards awarded for a merchandise purchase become
void upon return of the purchased merchandise. Saks reserves the right to adjust the original
merchandise purchase transaction (including by debiting your account) for any Gift Card not
surrendered with the associated merchandise return. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost or
stolen. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, stolen, damaged or unused Gift Cards. Sponsor
is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the promotion and/or publicity of the
Promotion, administration of the Promotion or in the announcement of any prize or inability to
implement the Promotion or award prize as contemplated herein due to any event beyond its
control. No more than the actual number of prize stated in these Terms and Conditions are available
to be claimed and awarded.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: All Players by participating in this Promotion agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Administrator shall be final
and binding. By participating, Players affirm they have read, understand and accepted these
Terms and Conditions. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion because
of fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsors reasonable control impairs the
integrity of the Promotion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right not to award a prize.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in this Promotion, all recipients of a prize hereby agree
to abide by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and
binding. Furthermore, each Player agrees to release the Promotion Entities, Instagram and their
respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all
others associated with the development and execution of this Promotion (collectively, the
Released Parties) from any and all liability with respect to, or in any way arising from, this
Promotion and/or award, acceptance of a prize if deemed a Winner, including liability for personal
injury, death, damages, or monetary loss. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the
Released Parties are not responsible for interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural
disasters, weather or acts of terrorism. All issues and questions concerning the construction,
validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and
obligations of Players and Sponsor in connection with this Promotion, shall be governed by, and
construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of New York, USA without regard
to New York choice of law rules.
WINNERS LIST: The information captured for this promotion (e.g. user ID) will be used to fulfill
any winners list requests. To request a list of winners send self-addressed, stamped envelope for
