Key outcomes/accountabilities
The Client Liaison Officer (Reception):
Provides high-level quality Ministerial and administrative support in a professional and timely
manner with a strong understanding of the issues facing Community Services and Housing NSW
clients.
Handles telephone enquiries from the public and other stakeholders in a professional and
sensitive manner. Directs calls to relevant Departmental Liaison Officers or the Department as
appropriate, consistent with agreed practice and with a focus on accuracy.
Manages and tracks incoming mail, determines appropriate actions and allocates appropriately,
following up on tasks as required.
Builds and maintains effective working relationships between FACS Ministerial Executive Support
unit and the Ministers Office
Effectively uses client data management systems to track relevant information and maintain client
records.
Assists with coordinating responses to urgent requests for information, briefings or advice.
